    Gambling Skill Not Working?

    I got the casino like 3 days ago, and the gambling skill won't work for me... I really need help.

      If you are looking for the little blue bar above their head it may not be there because as far as I can tell, the gambling skill works like the Gardening skill. The little meter only shows up every so often but doesn't stay above their head like it does when they are learning logic or athletic skills. Are you sure they have gambled enough to gain that first skill point?

      Well my Sim has used the slots for almost 10-12 Sim hours... Isn't learning a skill for the first time supposed to go fast?

      I put the blackjack table and the slot machines on my lot. My sim lost a lot at the slot machines so I put her at the blackjack table and had her practice. Afterwards she gained a point in the gambling skill.

      Ok I'll try the blackjack table some more since I only used it once for like 1 sim hour... Does it matter if she's the only one playing?

      My sim gained Gambling Skill playing Blackjack all by herself.

      i had this problem too, but i reinstall everything of this set and than i get back the Glambin skill. Delete every single item and the lot, and then the "whole set" (with the picture) and download again, install and hopefully it's gonna be there!

      LOL, I had the opposite problem. I put a Sim on Blackjack and a Sim on the slots and the Sim on the slots learned the skill as expected. I was thinking the bar on the Sim at the blackjack table just wasn't showing up but after several hours the Blackjack Sim had no gambleing skill. I switched the Sims and the slots gave skill and the Blackjack table didn't. I guess there isn't an easy answer.

      Ok well I'll try blackjack and slots some more, and after that if it doesn't work still I'll uninstall the set and re-install it. It's hard to play thought b/c something is up with my computer and I can only play for an hour until my computer restarts. Idk why it's doing this... Maybe I burned out a part from playing to long?!?! Also, 3 speed makes my game laggy. It never did that before.

      i have never seen the skill bar show above my sims heads :S
