I started with a what, then told why I thought as I did... how is that demanding? I only tried to help. nobody not even simling is forcing you to chang it... we just telling what we know and asking, just like people asked about cc....and the pattern thing was just becouse when hosting a contest I get that question! so aperently people like to know... and so do I....

I do not own BB so I will be decorating the lot by using pictures so I know what the area is like.
It will take some time, but hopefully I can grab a few screenshots of each of the lots so a simmer can choose which one to renovate/change.
That would be a big help if you could, If you can't it's fine. I'm sure there should be some on sims wiki or google.
Oh I plan on working on it. So far at the moment I'm getting the links to the homes and sims out as soon as I can, then probably tomorrow I'll add screenshots as I work in 3 hours >.<

That is where I got this lot! I love this lot, using it in Rflong's Twikki Island. Only thing that puzzles me, because I just started using a Nectary and my sim is forcing it, how do you get nectar in the place to be sold? I did have my sim sell some of her own nectar there, but will it be sold to non-active sims? I am such a slow, doe.
I have a lot to share, but it was an add-on lot. Not any of the regular BB lots. Can I submit it too? I will do some of the BB lots, just haven't taken time to do anything with them.

The bottles on the shelf were put there when I was making the lot, had to make it a home first. Otherwise, I don't really know. Even when I had my sim own the lot still had trouble placing bottles on shelf.(You are asking me about placing bottles?) Otherwise I don't think the other sims self purchase bottles.
Also, have a little fishing lot you might like for your island,to be placed on the beach if you are interested. Haven't uploaded it yet but when I was looking at your picture/story it made me think it would look cute.
Excellent idea. I'm quite outspoken on my opinion of Barnacle Bay (that it is the worst world EA has ever made for the Sims series in its entire history) The original world is an absolute shame, because it looks like crap but has so much potential.
Added more households and attached to some of them I have created slideshows of screenshots, so it wouldn't spam the entire front page of endless photos!

No self respecting pirate island should be without an old pirate castle. This one has been renovated and updated by the nouveaux riche who have recently flocked to Barnacle Bay. Sorry, no ghosts of old dead pirates, because no pirates died in the castle. You'll have to supply your own.
This home was designed for a large family, of all ages. It is dog and cat ready, as well. EA Store CC. No other CC. No spawners. Please DO NOT remove the blue globe fog emitters. They make the waterfalls work.
Not shown in the pics is the two basement wine cellars. One has stairs going down from inside the house and the other has stairs going down from inside the garden shed.
The lot is 60 x 60 and fits beautifully on the empty lot of that size on the back of the island, 432 Tidal Terrace. About 251,000 simoleans, so you might want to use the freerealestate cheat to get your sim family in the house.
This is a very unusual lot, and pics cannot do it justice, especially since I am limited to only five pics.
Please note: Before I uploaded this lot, I mistakenly uploaded the wrong version, with the wrong driveway terrain. Three eager beavers got it downloaded before I deleted and uploaded the correct version. If you downloaded the lot before you read this, please redownload. So sorry about that!
Are you going to 'assign' names to the lots people are building or renovating for your project so you don't end up with 5 fire stations and no junkyard?

If they are creating new firestations, etc. then I can just label it as "(insert username) firestation"
It's mostly a sharing thread so multiple remakes can happen, or multiple creations of the same thing can happen too. ^_^
You can choose what to renovate if you wish. I know I'm doing my own renovations too so I'll be adding some creations myself whenever I get the chance
I had to re-upload, yet again. On the previous one, a pattern tagged along. Sigh. I think I need to turn in my creator license, because I forgot to double check in Sims3Pack Cleaner, and only caught this mistake by fortunate "accident." :oops:
If you are one of the 14 people who downloaded, trusting that my lot was CC free (hides face), then you might want to delete a green "pattern" that looks like a simple recolor of a sweatshirt texture, which is what I thought it was. It was used on the crib canopy. Maybe on the teddy bears in that room, too. Anyway, go ahead and delete it.

You do not need to renovate also, you can create your own lots if you see fit ^_^
