Prius v & Prius Plug-In Compatibility Fix

Hello Simmers!

We recently saw some inquiries posted to The Sims 3 forums regarding both the Toyota Prius V and Prius Plug-In cars. We looked into these inquiries and made some changes on our end. We do have a resolution for you all and next steps to take if you encountered any compatibility issues with these items.

Step 1. Uninstall your Toyota related content.
Step 2. Then re-install both the ‘Download New Content’ and ‘Download Archived Content’ buttons from The Sims 3 Store’s Toyota Prius home page, located here: http://store.thesims3.com/prius
Step 3. Your content will appear back in your game. Enjoy and take your Sims for spin!

hmmmm I downloaded both packs but I'm not a big car enthusiast fan so as long as the car can get my Sims from A to B I will be very happy so thank you. I also don't mind my Sims driving the big lemon car either at times 8)

Hello,

I am still having issues with the Toyota Prius V showing up properly in my game. I have uninstalled all previous Toyota content, then installed the new Toyota Prius Family Pack. I keep getting duplicates of the Toyota Prius Plug-in (one being in place where the Prius V would appear), and the original Prius no longer has an item description or title. I have tried to uninstall the Prius Family Pack, but it is inexplicably absent from the installed content section on The Sims 3 Launcher.

Any suggestions or a resolution would be greatly appreciated!
