Great cabin-y bar. Great choice of materials and furnishings that suit where it is to be placed in the world. The outdoor entertaiment area is done very nicely too.It looks like a great place to go to meet up with friends, play games and have something to eat/drink.
I have built many houses, as well as remodeled and built clubs/bars all over the place. I finally figured I would try a new project … a nectary. There were some complications getting all the things I wanted on the property (especially since I don't use Master Controller, Mods or BuyDeBug). The lot has been tested and is functioning as it is supposed to.
There is No Custom Content … No Store Items Included.
Let's take a quick tour …
There is a large patio garden between the front gate and the business.
It contains two seating areas, and access to the vineyards on each side.
There is an additional seating area out back.
There are vineyards on both sides of the property.
The vineyards include all foreign grapes and some life plants.
The vines can be harvested, and harvests are alternating.
There are four Nectar Makers available for use by the public.
The interior of the shop has lots of nectar for sale.
Visitors can purchase nectar and nectar makers.
The are seating areas upstairs and downstairs.
Now you can have a nectary in any world …
complete with produce and the ability to buy nectars or nectar makers.
Really great nectary lot, inside and outside! It looks really great, and you have designed and set it all up so very well. Good for both harvesting fruits, and for buying nectars, and a very nice place to drink the nectars too. Very nice work with the flowers/plants/fountain. Lovely surroundings to sit, whether inside or outside. Great
Oh WOW! That looks so charming! I love the exterior. Great job with the build and the landscaping. I will happily recommend this.
A somewhat unknown designer eases into the market with a new wedding venue. There are several venues available, but not as simple as what Grace offers. Clean lines, organized areas, and designated routes for high traffic areas make this venue attractive to some people. Add the arch when you are ready to get married … Bad Luck to add it ahead of time.
Simple Elegance …
Seating for 36
Two Full Service Bars (drinks and food)
Large Dining Areas
3 Dancefloors
The Venue is applicable for Day, Evening or Night use.
A larger venue that offers more entertainment opportunities will come next.
Lovely, classically elegant weddng venue. It looks really good Very well designed and i like these photos you have shown of it. Also i like your idea of adding the wedding arch later, so as not to bring bad luck. Very nice build.
good to catch up with your studio. I have rec'd all that I've missed and added the Historical Nectary to favs. I still think you should reconsider using the image changer, I know you are going on about your homes are not very family friendly or what not but hey - I play alot of small families that are often childless! Something for everyone And your Nectary DEFINATELY deserves more attention.
Thanks for the Nice Comments Everyone!
You all ... and many others ... have some very nice work.
It is fun seeing the way other people put builds together.
The worst part is seeing something really cool, and then not wanting to copy it in one of my builds.
I also don't use any Custom Content or Store Items, so it is hard to measure up to some of the quality work available from others.

I just downloaded the UIC and will give it try the next time I upload a lot.
It was a pretty quick download and looks easy enough to use ... we will see.
How am I just now discovering your thread? I downloaded the wedding lot as my sims are getting hitched soon and had no where to get married. Also downloaded the bar.=) Rec'd everything.
*That is the best I can explain this house in the shortest amount of words.
A Little Background on my Egyptian Kick …
It all started when I was working on a remodel for the Neighborhood Pool in Sunset Valley.
I spiced up the pool some, added a bar, some additional entertainment opportunities and upgraded the facility.
I think it turned out nice ... and it is available for download as well.
I really liked the kind of Egyptian Style I accessed in the remodel, and then started working on refining it for use in a house. I went through several different builds, but to no avail. After a couple of tries, I started to think about what my Sim needed versus what I was building for someone else. My current Sim is a World Explorer, so not in trouble for money. What I came up with is the perfect house for a Sim that travels (can also be used as a vacation home in Egypt).
With No Further Ado … The Mirage:
Built On: 500 Sunnyside Blvd. - Sunset Valley Tested On: 500 Sunnyside Blvd. - Sunset Valley
The Courtyard ...
The Courtyard is designed with emphasis on Grace's travels in Egypt.
The are plenty of opportunities for entertaining guests, or just relaxing.
The Kitchen …
The Kitchen has an open-flow design with access to both sides of the house.
It separates the two sides of the house, allowing for some privacy with the residents.
It is complete with all appliances necessary, and a bar for quick courtyard access.
The Bedrooms …
Okay … Who else hates wandering around small cramped bedrooms?
Well the ones in this house are certainly not that.
Each has its own entertainment/sitting area … and some room to relax.
Both bedroom have great views of the surrounding area, and the courtyard.
The Bathrooms …
Each bedroom has its own bathroom … the design is the same but colors vary.
Like the bedrooms, they have plenty of space to move around.
An enclosed shower room helps separate the toilet area some as well.
The Office …
Everybody needs to get some work done.
You can work on business or your figure.
The Den …
You Work Hard … You Play Hard.
Relax with some games, or catch up on your reading.
Underground
If you are like Grace, you hate it when you throw a party and people mess up your house.
Easy Enough … lock the doors to your house, and build a club under the statue to entertain guests.
The Club …
Complete with a separate hot tub, large dance floor and double bar.
The the stereo is upgraded to “wire the house with speakers”.
The club has its own separate bathrooms (2) to keep traffic out of the main house.
Work Area …
Every Adventurer needs a work area to store their stuff and work on projects.
There is a small nectar facility and storage … and a skills area.
You might even need to do a little mummy research.
That wraps up the tour … Now the Details:
Some of the photos, relics and the sarcophagus are not included in the download due to complications with the size (Mb's) of the upload. The pictures (photos) at ground level are included as well as some in the basement. Grace is not included with the download.
There are No Store Items or Custom Content in this house. All of the appliances, fixtures, electronics, nectar makers and whatever have been upgraded.
Happy Simming … Argh!

Providing you with another 235k house to blow your simoleons on ... I am also trying to learn how best to use the Upload Image Changer ... so please excuse any ******** looking mess in the images.
The Mirage is really well designed ! I like the openness/spaciousness of the rooms, and where the roons are located in relation to everything else/other rooms. I too like the shades of colours you have used. Your interior work is just so very very good and a Sim would really enjoy living there. Great

I am an avid builder, but I can never seem to hit on something other people like. The true definition of an idiot is someone that does the same thing over and over again, and expects to get a different result. Since my builds are usually modern, and certainly not traditional … I thought I would see if I could make a more appealing traditional house. I like the Old Federals and they are a pretty simple design to work with.
3 Bedroom,
2.5 Baths
Kitchen/Dining Room
Grand Room

Den
So Today … I built and decorated this house.
The only thing I can say is that I think it looks okay.
To me … it is kind of boring, and doesn't suit my Sims.
Maybe someone else will like it though.
I Swear … If this doesn't work, I am going to start building Never Never Land Fairy Castles. Which might be cool ... Except I am a severely demented person, and my fairy castle would look like a drug induced nightmare.
I definitely do not like federalist ideology, but I definitely do like this home. It's very cozy, and it looks fitting to any world which is something I admire in a lot.
Your Federalist is great. I like how you have done the interiors. Many people will like this build, just as other people like your other builds, and a large amount of people will equally like all your builds! You are an excellent builder, so please just keep building what you enjoy building and there will always be people that when they see a particular build of yours will think it is really perfect for their Sims to live in. Continued happy building to you!
P.S. I don't know if what i said made sense but i just wanted to say that all your builds are really great!
WOW! I see that you have been busy! 2 new lovely builds! The Egyptian build is so detailed. I just adore it. Specially the interiors. Loving all the clutter. It's what makes it look like a real home. Recommended.    The second home, the federalist house, looks beautiful! I love the choice of windows and the window placement. Loving the brick. Inside, it looks really welcoming. I see how much time and care you have taken to decorate every room. Great job again! Recommended the Federalist home too.
Thought I would crank out another build ... test another theory.
The Rusty Nail (Cabin Getaway)
Perfect for a couple to escape or live in the mountains.
There are bathrooms upstairs and downstairs.
You can add a single wall and some furniture when a kid comes along … plenty of room.
