Why do my sims continue getting promoted even though they don't meet their required skills?
What is the point of skills getting highlighted when you'll get promoted anyway?

If you have any traits or lifetime rewards you bought to enhance your job performance, then that is why. If you don't then i don't know what to tell you.

No, I'm afraid I haven't bought any lifetime rewards.

It's normal. People who work hard are likely to get promotions. Any people with bad mood, a chance to get demoted. :P

I still can't shake the feeling that this is a glitch. Otherwise, what is the point of having required skill levels?
Where is the sense in reaching career level 10 in a job that requires level 10 logic, for example? And yet it's still happening.

hmm I've had a similar concern. Are we supposed to get a notification when sims get job promotions?
I'll look at the career tab and suddenly they have a new job title with a raise, but I wouldn't have known without looking.
