Patch 1.33 - Our Problem and Our Solution

We are playing Sims 3 Pets - I'm on iMac OS X - my daughters is PC Win 7
Problem:
I uploaded to 1.33 with no problems - my daughter could not upload to 1.31 then launcher no longer worked. She broke the darn thing and was having withdrawal pains from TS3
.
Tried to reset game to previous date before the update - launcher will would not work. Even bypassed launcher but game would show TS3 Pets screen with green bar complete then freeze. Tried many attempts to update TS3 patches, also Flash Player with no luck.
Solution:
At this point she cannot open the game through the launcher. If she bypasses the launcher using TS305.exe she can plan TS3 Pets. Still broken but playable. :?

Solution:

Made a BACKUP of TS3 GAME (Documents/Electronics Arts/The Sims 3)

Followed Crinrict's instructions to uninstall then reinstalled TS3 Base game (only)

Switched to Administrator

Updated Windows Service Packs and all other Windows updates (restart computer each time)

Installed Flash Player (64 Bit for IE) (restart computer)

Followed Crinrict's instructions (What can I do?) to load TS3 Patch updates

Restarted computer and she could play TS3 Pets from the launcher fine until she saved/closed/restarted computer again
At this point she cannot open the game through the launcher. If she bypasses the launcher using TS305.exe she can plan TS3 Pets. Still broken but playable. :?
