    ETA2: The manual patch listed here is for PC only, specifically the DVD disc version or EADM/Origin digital download version.

    ETA3: The patch has been pulled so the link above will just say file not found. I don't know the circumstances surrounding this but this so don't ask. If you are having patch 1.32 issues continue to post in this thread and not the bug thread as you will only be re-directed back here.

      I knew it, a patch release this fast will cover only a small portion of the current problems out there. But good nonetheless.

      I can at least have a comfortable thought that they fixed the CC seeping through the hosts game issue even though I still have no plans on playing Simport on a full throttle.

      Keep it up EA :) Oh yeah, don't forget the Banana Tree along the way :mrgreen: cuz I owe you one :P

      Okay this is good, however I'm not patching until the kinks are worked out. Does anyone know if they fixed the makeup not sticking problem yet?

      Diancarock, what kinks? In one of my posts you said your game was running as smooth as ever...weird.... :roll: 8)

      Did anyone get the update? I just updated and now it's saying that the game disc can't be found and the launcher closes by itself...I was playing Showtime all morning and everything was fine but now the update messed things up somehow...I never use or install custom content either

      I haven't installed Showtime yet, just have the patch. I opened the game just now and tried to log in but got a pop-up saying I couldn't access the network without installing the latest update. Seems like they're blocking us out until we patch? Or else my game's really messed up. :shock: I wanted to wait since I'm not simporting yet and don't want to do without Twallan's mods even for one night :-)

      Um how about the kink of hosting sims and getting CC. When I posted that I had only went and played a few minutes, if I recall, that was Tuesday, it's now Thursday. Are you like having a bad day? Don't take your issues out on me, I don't know you, and really don't want to.... :roll:

      Was surprised to see a patch so soon! Was about to update my game until I started seeing these posts of people having issues after installing the update. I'll see if any more players are having problems.

You went out of your way to say that I was complaining about nothing and that your game was fine and you had played for 5 HOURS not a few minutes. I can post what you said if you like....I'm not trying to argue I'm just annoyed that you went out of your way to say your game was running great and that you had played for 5 HOURS. Now you are saying that when you posted you only played for a few min? All I am saying is people read things so don't lie and say that my post was practically pointless and say your game is fine and now today say it's been buggy :?

      PS, not having a bad day at all :-D, that's why I thanked the OP for posting and why I only have a problem with you.

      You don't know me, you're right, but you had no problem lying on my thread and being rude yesterday to other people. Weird how that works?

      What goes on?! I've never had problems in the past with updates I'm pretty upset

      Well looks like this patch really did cater to simport, it did say so after all, because i still have the same issues with my game as I did before. fick them. Thanx for nothing Sims 3 tech ppl. Feel like I wasted $40. I have little hope that another patch will be released anytime soon.

      I just updated and so far no problems. I'm sorry you're having issues :( I'm feel your pain though, I generally DO have all of the little bugs and issues that come along with patching lol good luck getting it worked out!!!

      I was actually just about to explain myself...But why??? WHO ARE YOU??? Seriously.... Anyway, as you can see from other people saying that they're game has SHUT DOWN from the new patch. I guess it was smart to actually WAIT... Now run along and argue with someone else. I come to this board for information. And to share my experience with my game. Not to do tedious back and forth internet chat duels, with a middle schooler...Okay :D

      I suspect that may be what happened to me too (wasn't sure what Norton was trying to tell me in the corner of the screen but I think it deleted my game...)

      :( Well I tried to update the game and it failed miserably. Norton automatically removed one of the files because with a high certainty it was acting suspiciously. Then the game would not start and I ended up uninstalling Showtime. Now I'm wondering what to do. I'm going to try to re-install but not the latest update.

      I am sure all you people patched into a vanilla game right....NOTHING what so ever in your sims 3 folder??
