The "Someone's gotta do it - Have your dead pan cleaner sim clean 5 toilets" badge doesn't seem to be awarded properly in my game. I've had a Bed Pan Cleaner (Medical lev.2) clean 5 different toilets (some of them several times). I've actually lined up toilets in the attic that she's already cleaned, and put in new ones in the bath room, so I'm pretty sure I've counted correctly.
I've had another badge awarded today, so it doesn't seem a general problem.
Alright, I'll admit I didn't take the effort to trawl through 70+pages of posts to see if someone else had an answer to my problem, but I do hope for a response to this:
Whenever I direct my Sims to do some work in the study (working on computer and painting are particular problems I have noticed), they will usually make a path through a door that is locked to them, that is completely unrelated. Such as:

I have had sims missing after going away on tour. Had an issue with the daycare profession not showing up and sims getting stuck or missing everywhere. I have had household members that have become invisible :?: and now after a stretch of playing for a while and then the crash now it play for less time and crashes. So thats some kind of progress Help. I have a more detailed link below with the instruction that EA gave me :?:.
all my games Sims 3 base game, late night,generations,pets wont work.
every time i try to go on the launcher and try to update the game it just stops and never says anything for how long it will take to update and every time i try to not update it and just play the game i click on the button to play on the game launcher
it never lets me on it, it just has a small blue circle that keeps going round and round and i wait about 2 minutes later and it says Sims 3 game is not responding or some think like that. i only just got generation and late night for my birthday on Thursday and haven't been
able to play since but in Feb i got the base game and pets and it worked fine but
when i installed late night and generations on the Thursday morning it didn't work
and ever since i haven't got to play please help it was the only things i got for
my birthday.
Also, I think it must be considered a bug how the vampire genie offspring turns out. That needs to be fixed desperately since those sims now suck and most players play with all games together, and if one is inclined to use the supernatural creatures/lifestates then it's important that they're not damaging eachother like this.
Genievampire sim should:
- be able to get food to appear
- have the genie cloud
- enchant and dismiss sims
- clean themselves+house
- run with both the genie cloud = flying and the vampire blur at the same time (no feets touching ground though)
- learn super fast
- have green meters to point out it's a hybrid, or some other color?
- _not_ take damage from the sun, since genies get sunprotection via their heritage from warm sunny countries.
- bite, hunt, turn other sims into vampires - since they've got the vampire part.
- have fangs, pale skin, V on the neck and glowing eyes.
- can use the vampire "bed".
= all the good parts from both "worlds", but merged, not annihilated.
That's just my opinion, since it now is a curse to have a mix, and that's hard to avoid at times + that this version I now proposed would rule and be an incentive for us all to get all expansions.
and about bugs...
I also have a fire tombstone instead of "death by illusion/magic" version + the ghost when I revived it showed as a living normal sim in the panel even though it was transparent and awesome when you looked at the sim itself.
The omniplant doesn't seem to work for me any longer. Not feeding it nor ordering seeds.
And even though I now have the latest store content patch the Lady Ravendancer Goth's Book o' Spells can't be used by any sim in any household. They can get the action up in the queue, but as they stand ready to start to read they "teleport" some 3 sim meters away with the action cancelled. I had that before the latest content patch also. Before showtime came I could use it without problems and had the effects showing and all.
and something that might be a bug? pets - cats/dogs - can't teleport themselves out of burning houses as my firefighter sim is extinguishing the flames. They just get the teleporting effect but ends up on the same spot and does that over and over again.

Wedding gifts do not show up in the sims inventory (the letterbox says "get mail" and nothing happens when you carry out that action), yet the sims can still write thank you notes.
The same thing happens with gifts from parents in the daycare profession.
I hate how so many people do Let's Plays of the same game and games that are genuinely brilliant get ignored on YouTube. I want to change that, I have been playing The Sims games for the majority of my life and I want to share the brilliance behind the excellent game.

Well, my vampire sim married a genie, and later they got triplets. Two boys and a girl. One of the boys has the same skin colour as his father, the second boy is a lighter blue colour while the girl has a bit darker skin than her mother. At the child stage the boys were revealed to be genies as well, with the appropriate wishes and everything, while the girl was just vampire. And here comes the catch. She gets the usual geniewishes as wanting to clean another sim or wanting to clean the house with magic - without being able to do so. Also I think I saw her hover a few times, just like a genie. Is this some kind of a glitch?
I can only make waffles, automn salad, mac and cheese, and hot dogs. My initial issue of only making limited food only affected the hood that came with showtime. My other games saved were fine. I followed the directions that were given to zandrailia but they did not work for me. I make the sims3_backup file, let the computer make a new sims 3 folder and then I put my option.ini file in the sims 3 folder and the problem did not go away. I deleted y files in the Saved folder still did not fix the problem removed all mods and cc that was not store bought, still have the same issue.
I don't know if this is a bug or not, but if I get a gig (a non-steady gig specifically) for the next day and I save and quit before the gig begins, it won't be their when I start again later and I have to wait before I can re-audition as well.
An issue I've not had before showtime is that travelling abroad now is dangerous.
Not only the loss of fish etc, but now it's like a gamble if the sims I sent will appear in the household when they come back. First time it happened it was a ghost sim missing, so I thought it was just some extra ghost bugginess, but a few days ago I had 6 sims on a trip to Al Simhara but only 2 of the kids and 1 of the adults made it back.
So when that happens I lose all the stuff I've done with them abroad since I apparently Have to go back to the save before they travelled = a pain and now I don't "trust" travelling, so that's a huge downer since I want to play _all the games' different features_ merged.... Anyways. Outta' here...!

sometimes a proprietor will appear with the grim reaper skin, and I noticed some proprietors that already died are paralyzed near where they worked, scary. but after a while they disappear :shock:
I do have Overwatch & Mastercontroller installed. My game is fully patched.
Situation, I sent my sim out for a tour. She left and her panel grayed out as it should. She was gone for the 12 sim hours (no one had accepted her yet though) and just as she was about to return her icon on the household panel totally disappeared. She was completely gone from my game, no longer showing up in the family relationship panels too. Just wiped off the face of my sim game.
My solution was to exit game without saving and then go back into game. Even though I had not saved when I re-entered my game it showed her panel as grayed out still, like she was still away on tour. I, of course, canceled her tour in order to save her from disappearing again.
I am not the only one to report this glitch. I have one friend on my list who's reported sims disappearing from simport too.
When I make a custom lot for a venue, a proprietor doesn't show up thus making it impossible to book gigs. I'm sorry If this was answered before but I didn't have time to scan through every page. Thank You.
I stupidly thought that if I uninstalled and reinstalled using only the sims 3 base and showtime, the crashes would stop. Not the case, just crashed AGAIN! (I hope chookyn got her badge, I know I didn't)
When is this getting fixed? I use NO MODS at all so its not that, I have the latest updates and use only store bought CC (In like flynn guitar and forward sweep male hair, bout all I use)
How can anyone find this fun when you lose your progress ever 10-20 minutes? spam save? this really shouldn't be required.

So far, I experienced two odd bugs in my Showtime game. :roll:
1.) Relationship between Sim, who is preforming his gig, and audience is decreasing instead of increasing, even if he put on a legendary preformance!! :evil: 2.) When a Sim goes to work, he wears a random dress with random hairstyle and NO shoes!
Any ideas on how to solve these two problems?? :!: :?:
They are really annoying, so help would be appericated. :P

It has been months since I've been playing this game with my performers and it is seriously frustrating me to the point where I just want to quit playing this game altogether. Yes: Mostly just ones that came with expansions
so make sure to save after 20 minutes, this could be a cache issue... so i read somewhere. delete your cache files

1.) Relationship between Sim, who is preforming his gig, and audience is decreasing instead of increasing, even if he put on a legendary preformance!! :evil:
2.) When a Sim goes to work, he wears a random dress with random hairstyle and NO shoes!

It has been months since I've been playing this game with my performers and it is seriously frustrating me to the point where I just want to quit playing this game altogether. I've seen threads posted here and there with people only complaining and discussing it, a lot of people know what the problem is by now however I have yet to see any solution for it.
