"HD Horse Coats" Series. By LittleV (2 NEW Sept. 6th)

«1
Along with my "Real Horses" and "Improved Puppies" Series, I've been working on a series of high-def horse coats that illustrate accurate examples of the most common horse coat colors. Each horse coat contains between 30-50 layers depending on the color's complexity to create the most photo-realistic horses that I could for the game, taking into consideration variations in the coat hairs and the way light hits the body of the horse.

I will begin uploading them soon, so check back for new uploads! I can take suggestions for additional colors to be added, as well as facial markings.

A few of the colors to be included:

Thank you, and to the others as well!

I tried to upload another but the Exchange is going through a weird phase where no images are showing up for any uploads. I deleted it and am waiting till the Exchange is back and working correctly. Hopefully that will be soon.

Hi, I'm currently in the process of creating a brand new world & a blog to join the horse community.
In my search for good coats I stumbled across your amazing masterpieces.
My question is; can I use your coats/horses/dogs/wolves for my project?

    - For breeding I would love to use your coats (should it give good looking foals without weird coats) for my Arabians and Belgian Draft Horses,
and your wolves as foundations (perhaps alter them slightly) for my kennel/breeding.
Only foals and pups of them would be 'sold' and not exact copies.
1 copy of each animal only and none will be uploaded for download anywhere.

    - Other horses/dogs would just be for my town sims or as companion/working horses/dogs and not part of my breeding program.
But may show up on some pictures for story purposes and never 'sold'.
Should I want to add them to my breeding program, I will ask first.

Also I will give you my blog when I'm finished for you to check out at anytime and see if your happy with it, if not I'll change it if it's your work.
I have a page that will be dedicated to CC Credits and if you agree; then you'll find the credits for your work there.
As it will also act as a list for people in search for CC.

Would this be okay for you?

I really love your horses but... Is there any chance you could upload the coats (not the sim) seperatly? My game doesn't like it when I have too many sims in my bin... Please?

Thanks for bumping this topic, I had neglected it when I took a break from The Sims and never updated it. Unfortunately I only upload the pets themselves as I don't want my studio to get cluttered with duplicates. If you're having trouble downloading there are lost of solutions to issues like that that can be found all over the internet, or you could start a topic asking for help. Hopefully that gets worked out for you!

I'm going to be updating this series now with new coat colors, including many typical markings as well. Look for these in the near future:

    Bay Roan_________(Finished)
    Cremello_________(Finished)
    Perlino_________(Finished)
    Leopard
    Splashed Overo
    Frame Overo
    Tovero
    Tobiano
    Sabino
