This is a modern build for CCCAAALLLIII. My basis for the styling was Mid-Century Modern architecture, much like in my "Century Rohe Apartments", but with this build I am taking it to a more modern, and natural style, with the use of wood throughout.
As you will see, it is still in its very early stages, but I am really excited by it! I am pleased to say that I did indeed manage to fit in 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, as requested, even though I thought I'd have to move it to a larger lot in order to do so.
This build will use the Pets, Late Night and Generations EPs, but also Store Content. Cali, if you see an item that you don't have or you object to me using, please say .
In this update, I added wall coverings, and started the main manicured landscaping.
This is the front of the house, now with the planters complete, for now at least:
This is the rear:
Inside, I thought I could use simple columns to replace arches for a more modern feel. What do you think about this? Because there are currently no lights inside the house, they appear very dark, but just imagine them to be the same texture as the windows, with dark-grey outlining.
And this has to be my favourite part of the build so far. If you get the angle right you can see straight through the glass into the city.
To Cali (and anyone else who is interested):
I will be away for just over a week to stay with my dad. At his house I am able to play the game, albeit not very well, so I only have one EP installed to reduce lag. I will not be able to continue with the house for this time, but don't worry, I will still be researching designs and interiors whenever I get the chance, so I will be ready for when I am able to build again.

Sadly it seems not. Perhaps I can make a thread to try and help?
Anyway, back to building. I won't be able to update while I'm gone... I hope Cali sees the message soon!
