    Hey guys!

Tatertot V2 here -- AznSensei's always got amazing threads. I saw his original Lunar Lake thread popping up on the first page again, so I figured we'd sticky it for a little bit!

I want to see some screenshots! I need more decoration ideas. I have builder's block :( .

    Hello

Just got it a few days and haven't had a extended chance to check it. Was looking forward to some screenshots too :D And thought it would be worth mentioning that the Futureshock sets are on sale. Hmmm....Right now using LL as a base for my Firefly Simon and River to get them ready for a CAS contest. I could post the one picture of Simon I got if anyone is interested?

I dabbled around in LL but I really got tired of just playing a regular old game with Sims that had blue and green skin. I am really looking forward to LL with real aliens. I am going to scrap my old game which I haven't played in quite a while a start a new game and getting it ready for aliens. The other thing about LL that I did not like was getting around, the world is huge and if you build your Sim's home in the craters, it takes forever to get to the other side of the world. Subways just did not fit LL. But the Llamas from Supernatural fit LL so much better for getting around.

I have updated Memories of Earth dome to include a couple of things from expansions and world releases that came after LL was first released. Here is the link and a few photos if anyone is interested in replacing their domes.

So guys is downloading stuff from the exchange a bad idea for your game? I remember back in the early Sim 2 days it could be problematic but it seems as tho everyone is comfortable downloading lots?

I'm thinking of doing so. I have alot to get finished before Seasons comes out and after working on updating 7 worlds with 5EP's in just one year's time, I'm OVER it. LOL

There are fantastic lots for LL and I may just go ahead and download some. I have a couple I want to build from stractch (no RH's or shells) so I know it will take some time.

I have downloaded about a half dozen lots from this thread - some really great builds! I have them all in my game and have had no problems at all. Most of the lots are CC free. I don't mind a few CC items, but I try to avoid larger files with lots of CC.

Wow, so happy to have come across this thread. I've been on the hunt for new lots for LL, planning on doing either an Ambitions series or Seasons series on my YouTube channel and I wanted to redo the world. Make it more lively. I've rec'd and favorited the ones I like and plan to give credit where it's due.

You guys are awesome and I can't wait to use these lots in-game! (if anyone is interested, despite my shameful advertising, check out my channel and watch my LP's, you may just see your creation now).

So as I needed a break from building/designing in LP I hopped on a spaceship and flew to LL. (Well, I hit main menu, save - lol ) In doing so, I decided to build a house and try doin something different. Really just trying to get idea's for alien houses. I simply built the house and then made a collection folder using a moon icon called "Space" and added everything that I think would work well in LL so when I go to update this world it won't be such a hassle.

I built the house with aliens in mind only to love it too much.

I fixed my green sim family back to a normal skin tone. Now they just need 20,000 to buy the house I built, lol.

Now I know what will work well for an alien themed house. I decided to change all the lights to green and for their "sleeping rooms" purple. It really adds a great element of scifi to the town. I love it.

Just wanted to say I am still loving this thread :) Lunar Lakes is definetly one of my favorite hoods to play because it is so different and unique. Thank you to the creators who have shared in this thread, I have a few in game and they are great. Thank you also to Azn for starting it and keeping it going and to the gurus for sticking to the front page for a bit, it's awesome. I'm getting mine ready for seasons also.

I have an idea but I am unsure if it could be done.

Well you know how the sims 3 adventure worlds aren't lore friendly with Lunar Lakes? What if instead of "taking a cab" to an adventure world that they took a warp gate. It would be re-programmed to were the sim would go to the portal and enter it, and then the adventure world would load up. When the sim comes back home instead of the taxi cab into town thing. They could just be walking out of the warp gate.
I have two ideas on how this could work.

    1. There are 3 warp gates and each takes you to the actual place.
    or
    2. There is 1 warp gate and it is title "Virtual Reality Center" and you would click > go on vacation > Go to Al Simhara, Sang Simla, or Champs Les Sims.

I think two would work better because it wouldn't require a warp gate in the adventure worlds to make it more lore friendly.

    any thoughts or ideas?

Bump! Would really love if this thread picked up again since we finally have REAL Aliens in the game, have pointed ears, and can choose all sorts of skin colors now.

I am glad this thread is still here.I had a crash on my pc and lost all I had there, and when I started to play again,it was time for Supernatural,Monte Vista and Seasons;-) Thanks AznSensei for this thread and for the Monte Vista thread, thats here :

    http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/621060.page

But I plan to start playing again in Lunar Lakes, its perfect for my Singel fathers with the ailien babys,he,he..when I play in my other towns and some of my male sims get a baby,I save them to bin,and plan to put them out in LL,I am sure that will bee fun.

So,I wonder if someone has uploaded a CC free, updated vertion of the town..?Hm..maybee that is not allowed.. Gues I just have to download builds again,or maybee make some myself, did not build houses that time when got Lunar Lake. My game seems to bee slow lately...Just think the more houses I download, the slower it gets..?

I was wondering, rather then having to do this myself to every Store World. Would anyone be up for shareing their CC Free Save Game for this World?

I'm working on a story that is going to take me to all of the Store World's but going into every one to place all Lot's up to and including Season's is going to take a while.

I have all expansions including Season's, all Stuff Packs and all Store Content if anyone is willing to share their Save with me I'd really apperciate it.

I am looking for Save's all updated to Season's for Luner Lakes, Lucky Palms, Moonlight Falls, Riverview, Sunlit Tides and Barnacle Bay.

I already have my own, Saves created for Bridgeport, Hidden Springs, Sunset Valley, Monte Vista.

I also don't mind if Lot's from other creators were used to update these World's to Season's.

I hope it is ok to ask this of people and people don't mind, I'm sure there are a few people out there who would like this as well.

There are Lot's of people like me who want everything up to their current expansion in each World so they can move from World to World without having to make them all over, thanks if anyone is willing to help me with this.

An in my story I'll credit the Save File to the person who shares their's with me as well, I feel if able credit sould be given where it is do.

Since Lunar Lakes isn't crashing on me anymore, so far, I was hoping there might be some simmers out there with some new or redesigned commercial lots. I'd love to see this thread pick up again ^_^

I don't have anything to add or share because I don't have Lunar Lakes yet, but I'm glad to see there are other players who enjoy mixing scifi with Sims. Other forum members always say Lunar Lakes is boring, so I'm glad some people enjoy it.

The builds and Sims on this thread are amazingly good.

I love it because it's just so different and I love sci-fi. It can get boring if I don't have enough commercial lots so my sim has something to do, but otherwise it's not really that boring. Only annoying part is the routing issues that are going on still because of Seasons.

This is a simple home i built for Lunar Lakes in a future modern style. 2 storys. one bath. one open bedroom, totally open floor plan. Pizza Oven in kitchen! Uses the futureshock set heavily and the LL build items. Reasonably priced for just over 40k fully furnished.

This is a small neighborhood stylists shop and tattoo parlor. I made it for Lunar Lakes but i think it would fit many neighborhoods. There are two stylist stations, two "wash stations" one tattoo chair , and seating for the clients in wait. There is also a washer and dryer for those many many towels and smocks.
