So, now that there is a new fancy Download system in the Sims 3, plus the online store, my question is this: Do you think that EPs will be cheaper now, since people can just purchase items from the store? Or do you think that regular game updates with free and purchasable content is the better route? This franchise makes so much money off Expansion Packs, but they will make just as much money off purchasable content, even with free content. Tell me what you think about this, after-all a $20 price tag isn't too much to ask for more content on top of the 50 bucks we spent on the game. Let's hear the opinions!

I'd prefer to just buy content from the online store, and maybe pay $20 every now and again for a good expansion. I'm just saying that 30,40,50 dollars is far too much to be spending on expansions for a game like this. Some of the content should just be implemented anyway, so why have us pay for it? I'm still willing to pay 20-30 bucks for major expansions though, and i'll buy online content.
