What in the world...?

«1
Actually I'm more thinking...what the H-E-Double Hockey Stick, is going on? I posted this problem in Technical but, yeah, got no help what so ever. :x So I'm putting it here. I have done everything I can possibly think of, but nothing is helping. Does anyone else have this issue going on with their small pets?

It's only with cats and dogs, my horses are fine! I didn't spend $40.00 on an expansion pack to NOT be able to enjoy the whole thing! UGH!!!!!!

It's your graphics card. :( Which card do you have? Hopefully it's not one of the old ones that have to be replaced for pets to show properly. Try updating your drivers.

A few cards that are affected are listed here:

unfortunately...yes. but it's only with cats and dogs. My horses are "normal". There's no graphic drag out.

I had to replace a load of my cc or find updated versions for them when pets came out. Things turned odd that I didn't even think would be related to my cc.

Apart from that I'm not too sure what to suggest.

It could be bad CC. My Sim babies have the same look, and I just blame it on sketchy custom content :?

Hm... I think it might be a bad CC problem. Have you tried temporarily moving your CC folder somewhere else and then starting up your game?

Yes, I have done that, those pic's were taken with no cc in at all. I also have s3pe running and I use Delphy's Dashboard to check all .package files. I have also removed tons, and I mean...TONS of CC that I had.

    Oh dear

I have had my pets stretch a few times in CAS when i first had pets, but its fine now and was never constant.

The occasional stretching then reverting back is caused by a bug on EA's end Graham said they're looking into that but the op's problem is a videocard issue.

The game doesn't like the 6150 card. I know I've seen those issues on that card with pets on my friends pc. It also doesn't like the 6200.

Well, one good thing to come out of this...my hubby just told me that he is going to have a gaming pc built for me. So maybe I'll just uninstall pets until my new pc is here and it has the right kind of graphics card to handle pets and any other ep's that come out. :?

I'm sorry its not working for you. Pets was the most exciting to me because I love animals. I don't know how i'd play without it.

i agree that you should just uninstall till the new one gets there.

Just because your graphics card is not on the list...does not mean it won't work...

you need to learn the settings of the graphics card itself...and the game...

it probaly took my over 50 times of restarting my game to get haveways decent looking animals but it can be done...
