Legacy Tips :)

I do apologise if there is a topic like this one somewhere, I did do a search but couldn't find anything. I'm going to post this in Stories and Legacies too but posts tend to get swamped down in there....

Any ways my question is can anyone give me any tips when starting a legacy? What I mainly want to find out is what furniture do you update first?

I have come into some money from working and wondering whether to buy a new fridge first? Or bed? Or toilet? etc

Well, I always buy a bed first, since bladder is taken care of automatically when the sim goes in to work and toilets are otherwise available on community lots. Showers are also unnecessary at first as there are ones at the gym. I tend to buy a fridge second after the bed, unless you've edited the gym to have one.

But, yeah. That's just how I do things; half the fun is figuring out what works for your playstyle! First attempt doesn't have to be perfect and all that.

I have all the essential furniture, but had to but the cheapest of everything. Im now in the process of updating to better stuff...

I usually update everything Normally I start out upgrading the shower, because I hate the bad moodlet that comes with the cheap one...and then the fridge, stove, and bed

That's exactly what I wanted to know. I upgraded the shower first because they were getting the moodlet every morning!

I usually work on building the actual house, first, before I even think about updating stuff, but that's just me.
