I followed these instuctions. My launcher is working but there is nothing inside my launcher. No sims that i use to have, no mods that i use to have. WHAT DO I DO NOW?
My update says 9.0.73.012001 is that correct?

***Update*** I had to add my Saved Sims, Saves and World Cache folders to the new The Sims 3 folder and I can play but without any mods including cc hair/makeup. Without the World Cache you can't play EA worlds not included in EPs.
I'm lucky I'm having a problem most arn't on here. I can't download the demo because of the new store content patch available note. :shock: I can't get this message off my screen and it keeps me from downloading the demo. I've had this issue thou before this demo as because of this I can't download anything from the store or origin. Origin is updated to the latest version as well.
Oh I had this once. There was an error message underneath the store update note and it was sticking out a tiny bit, just enough to close it. After that the note went away
I'm downloading the demo on a computer without sims. But I need to know if Pets will work with my computer's graphics card. it is a NVIDA GeForce 6150SE
opened up the launcher and it finally worked BUT THERE WAS NOTHING IN the launcher. Everything was gone. And it made a new folder for what? Then when I erase the .old my launcher goes back to not working.
I just want my old game back and everything the way it was before I downloaded the Pets Demo.

Do you know what EA, would have been so difficult just to let us all know that to treat the demo as a patch, REALLY would have been so much help and there wouldnt be so many people with broken games 🐸🐸🐸🐸 !!!!! NOT HAPPY, maybe you need to think ahead in future

I deleted the demo. My game won't start either, DARN! DARN! DARN! I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium, language is English, I have 2/3 store items and some CC from other creators. After I uninstalled the Demo I did notice that a collection folder was in my game folder. I have been spending money on the Sims since Sims 1. What is wrong with EA. Did they test the Demo with other EP and SP install. How stupid of me to keep buying.
1. I'm having the same issue. I dled the Sims 3 CAP and it worked fine but then I tried playing my original game and I got the same error message.
I uninstalled CAP, uninstalled and reinstalled Origin, and I also changed the name of my Sims 3 folder and the Mods folder, which worked BUT all my cc and such was gone. So I got rid of the new folder and now I'm still stuck with a launcher that doesn't work AT ALL. Help.
Anybody know if EA has messed up worse than this? I know its all in perspective and in my experience (besides wrecking Spore) this is just about the worst.
The only problem I've had is that part of the dogs/cats face is missing...still has eyeballs..and the skeleton is there just not the skin ..if that makes any sense..
