My Sim has a maid, no-one else in the room has this negative moodlet.
My Sim also had this moodlet *days* ago - due to bad food in her inventory.
Even after I dragged the food to the trash, the moodlet remained.
By The Way, I read somewhere that the following is recommended:

After YEARS of playing this game I have finally found the solution! You have to buy the Karma Power: Good Times for 150 challange reward points in the challange shop and use it on your sim(s). Disgusting smell that lasts for "10 minutes" disappears 😄

@Beepix, I do believe that the game you're playing is for console as this thread is for PC which doesn't use karma power in it like the console games do.
