Distant Terrain: Feedback and suggestions appreciated.

I've started making a world that incorporates distant terrain, however this is my first time using any variety of distant terrain. Does it look ok? I'm not finished with the painting of the mountains, but I'd like some feedback before I spend WAY too many hours working on it only to find out that it looks absolutely abysmal. Thanks.

It is VERY small, but I can just about make it out. Maybe if you zoom in a bit and then take the picture. From all the way over here, it looks nice
