Will pets be able to die like sims?

I think they will somehow die, but I have no idea whether they can only die from old age, or also other ways. Pets facing some sort of dangers makes it all more interesting, I think.

And, assuming we get ghost pets, it would be more fun if those ghost come in different colours, too. Hm, seeing a purple horse ghost floating accross a distant hill... :-)

LOL i think a died vampire dog would look awesome :P but i doubt where going to be able to turn are dogs into vampires
