Note: Firstly, thank you for all your patience.
I seem to be endlessly apologising for things not being on time and making you all wait but unfortunately, it keeps happening.
When seren started this comp, I was on board to just help out with ideas and judging because I knew I wouldn't have the time to dedicate fully to running a comp.
With seren having some serious health and forum issues, I thought I could handle carrying the torch. And believe me, I am trying! It just never works out. Either I'm ready and the judges aren't or it's the other way round.
In this case I was waiting on seren. I did not feel right posting without her input, it is her comp after all.
So I apologise again and hope you are all still on board and I haven't let you down. With nearing the final four, I'm praying that everything will be updated on time.

Comments: Wow WOW and WOW! Oh my gosh Sun, this looks like a movie poster. There is nothing I could fault in this picture. It's just so right. It looks like the power of the Gods is flowing through her and she can destroy anyone who stands in her path, yet looks gorgeous at the same time.

Comments: I love my Greek Mythology, so your pic was love at first sight! You've utilised that fog effect to perfection, creating such drama and intensity. She looks as if she has just pulled the sword back out of her enemy, thanks to the detail of the blood and that stern, deadly pose. Amazing job on the outfit, embodying the spirit of a warrior in leather and metal. I think this is my favourite from you for this comp Sun

But anyways, the set design is fantastic Bliss. All the detail in the stairs and building behind her, amazing. These girls look like they mean business if anyone dares to cross onto their land! I also like how you distinquinshed your Calendar Girl from the rest using different battle clothes. You know that she's in charge. Bravo Bliss!!

Comments: Oh she is just rockin this era! Someone obviously loves a good bloodshed!! So much attitude and confidence in her ability to swing a sword and ward off the enemy. Have to say yours is the most detailed (set wise) out of the bunch here. Love your use of layering to get that iconic border of the Greek period. Brilliant work JK

Comments: Wow this is a stunner. This has Greek Tragedy written all over it. The fire blazing, the chaos all around, here our Calender Girls face looks beautiful and calm, like this moment was always meant to happen and she's in that moment of quiet you get right before you pull the trigger or rather plunge the knife. Even though her clothing looks like peasantry, her face and hair look like royalty. I really want to know the story that brought her to this moment. By the way, the blood on the fingers-such a fantastic touch.

Comments: Never would have thought of combining that top and skirt together to portray Greek fashion but you did and it totally works. This is so beautiful cupcake, I feel like I've startled her and caught her in the act. Or maybe I'm next lol. I love how she's not afraid to get her hands dirty, chosing a smaller, sneakier weapon. The fire and smoke creates such a chaotic, destructive atmosphere, sigh, you always enchant me with your imagination and implementation cupcake

Comments: Out of everyone, your Calendar Girl looks the most ticked off and it must have been fierce to have her male opponent shaking in his sandals! And, is that a chain mail tunic?! How the hell did you achieve that?! Love the contrast between a very styled hair-do to the bloody fingers and dirt smears over her legs and cheek. Great inlcusion of the fallen rubble and skeleton. Her pose is perfect but what would have pushed this to perfect for me, if she was rotated a bit more to see more of her face and a bit closer. But overall Amiee, good job!

Your Calendar Girls are embracing the Tokyo fashion mainstream and turning Harajuku! Although Harajuku has been around since the late 1950's, Gwen Stefani brought more widespread attention to this culture in 2004, which is the year your Calendar Girl has arrived.
Harajuku in Japan refers to an area around the Harajuku train station. Harajuku style is a japanese fashion adopted by the teenagers and young adults in the area and its side streets which have many boutiques, trendy stores and used clothes shops. This fashion style varies considerably, and there are many different looks.
Ranging from the elegant Gothic Lolita
To the punky modern Visual Kei
And, of course, the crazy colourful awesomeness of Kawaii

What you'll be judged on
Does your Calendar Girl represent the fashion of Harajuku?
Is your Calendar Girl standing out from the crowd, or blending into the background?
Are the walls up or down? We'd prefer to see walls up, where they should be.
Are those pesky thought bubbles showing?
Are any extras in your picture behaving themselves?
RULES
1. Please be kind to each other, rudeness will not be tolerated.
2. No face plastering of any kind.
3. We will give extensions when needed, but to make it fair, we ask that you let us know TWO days before the due date, so others can take advantage of the extension. However, we will take into account things such as Patches and game issues ( we know you can not plan those issues)
4. No major changes to model once submitted, unless we allow for it in an assignment. The exception to this rule is CC skin, if skin is causing your game to have issues, I do not mind if you need to change it, just please try to keep it close to the original colour. I will also make exceptions on a case to case basis. ( I understand CC can go wonky) We request that eye colour stay the same, but if you need to remove CC eyes or contacts, that's fine.
5. Hair colour and make up can be changed at any time, it's up to you!
