LOT SIZE, ADDRESS & FINAL COST: not sure on cost will find out later
    Chosen lot # (1-72): 29.
    Chosen lot address: Redwood Pkwy - 130 - 40 x 30 - (Empty Lot)

LOT DESCRIPTION & DETAILS: We live in a small apartment that is uninspiring so I desided to buid a home I would like to live in. This home evolved as it went along, I kept adding rooms we would like to have. Over all I think it turned out pretty good. There are privacy walls on each side so neibors can't peek in, but still a great view of the harbor. I only forgot one room but seeing as how I was lucky to get the house uploaded and the pics that I did I'll feal fine about it. (There should be an awsome computer room.) My cooking fan went out for my laptop and another wont come till next week so I consider what I have done lucky. Me and Zac have the bedroom with the best view, there is a guest room directly behind that and my grandmothers room is the one all in pink (you'll have to imagin that she's in a wheel chair instead of roaming the house lol) There is also a guest room for my nephews it's made like a castle we have three nephews and another on the way in aug two on each side imagine that lol. There is also a casual livingroom area and then one for actual comfort. Plenty of places to entertain and also plenty of places to spend your day so your not always in the same spot. I forgot to give them a car (sigh) and I forgot to put the appliances on the counters. Other than that I'm very happy with how it turned out. It has an elevator and stairs. I donno if Zac would agree this house is awsome but I love it.

Again sorry for the rush but I can only get on the game for a few mins before my laptop overheats and I have to restart it.

    Am I doing this right?

    Family Surname (last name): Patience76
Family members (first names) and ages: Richard (My Hubby--Adult), Tina (Me--Adult), Jeremy(Son at home--Young Adult), Ellie (Daughter--Teen), Jeff (Son--Teen), Daniel (Son--Young Teen), Danielle (Daughter--Child) and Destiny (Daughter--Child)
    Chosen lot # (1-72): 49.
Chosen lot address: 20 Summerhill Court

It says "Alto Household" on the list of lots but it's the only 60 x 60 I saw that didn't have a "Fall" or a "Spring" in the name. For our big family, we need a big house! LOL Anyways, is that okay?

As soon as I hear I did this right and this address is okay, I will start making my Sim family! :-)

    Thanks!

LOT SIZE, ADDRESS & FINAL COST: about §250,000
    Chosen lot # (1-72): 43
Chosen lot address: 373 Skyborough Blvd; 30 x 40 - (originally Steele household)

LOT DESCRIPTION & DETAILS: I decided to recreate my real house. I live with my father in a townhouse which is part of a group of 15. For purposes of the game, I created only 3 townhouses, and of those, only my own is furnished. The house has 3 bedrooms; 2.5 bathrooms; an open-layout first floor with living/dining area, kitchen and family room; a small backyard patio; a basement (partially underground) with garage, studio and pantry. I'd say I was about 65% successful. The main difference is that my real house is not nearly as neat as the Sims version!

I have you down for #49: 20 Summerhill Court. In the original Sunset Valley, it contains the house of the Alto family. You can bulldoze that house and build your own!

Hi there KitKat! Nice to see ya! I'm actually having a lot of fun with this! Making my family into Sims, who woulda thought? Our family of 8 and our real life situations too--Mine is a little more than it is in real life due to my health and my physical limits, but everyone and everything else is "fit to a T". Maybe if this doctor I'm seeing now figures out what's wrong with me, who knows! Maybe fate will have it's say so after all one day!

Should I give the link to my family now? I see that other people have uploaded their finished lots.

Hope you get your medical issues figured out. I've had friends and family members in similar situations. It's amazing that with all we know about how the body works, it's still a big mystery sometimes. Wow - big family  That's great! You can upload as a family now if you want. We ask that you upload your final build as a household (with your sims in the house) though, so it's not totally necessary.

I'm so close to being done with my Centennial Vale house! My daughter's open house and other family things have cut into my sims time. :P Thank you so much for extending the deadline on this challenge/project. :D

I know there are tutorials for making tri-level houses, but I just gave up and made a house that is one story on one end and two stories on the other end. It looks pretty close. I'm finding it more difficult to replicate my house than just making something from my imagination. Whew.

Loving everyone else's houses. Can't wait to play the neighborhood. :D

Styxlady (*waves hello*) posted a link to this on her blog and I was so impressed by her submission, I'm inspired to try my hand at this. I'm not much of a builder, but would love to get better at it...besides this seems like a fun way to spend my evening after everyone else is tucked into bed :) What is the deadline on this?

If it's not too late to sign up, I'd like to.

    Family Surname (last name): Crisco
Family members (first names) and ages: Kristen (YA), Daryl (YA), and Gabe (Toddler)
    Chosen lot # (1-72): 13
Chosen lot address: 65 Maywood Lane
**Media and lot link will be submitted next week

Not too late - welcome :) Flexible deadline on this one. You might also want to check out the regular Build-n-Share challenges if you're looking to improve on building. They're a ton of fun! I'll reserve #57 for you!

No problem! We usually have an extended timeline for these neighborhood projects. Pulling together so many lots from so many busy Simmers can take some time. Hope you find yourself some Simming time soon :)

Sorry to be a pain...I had some technical difficulties with the lot I originally chose. I think I just forgot to flatten the lot before I started building but it's been giving me grief all morning. I found a lot that works better for me. Is it okay if I change? Also, being less commercial, it suits my house much better anyway.

    I would like to take #13. Maywood Lane - 65 - 40 x 30 - (Modernehaus) instead of #57 that I picked yesterday.

I hope that's not a problem. If you approve, I'll go back and edit my entry form. Thanks.
