Thats started happening to me a lot too. I tried when building in a world to put an athletic stadium down on a decent sized lot but it wouldn't let me. I got so fed up I tried putting it on a 60x60 and it still wouldn't allow it anywhere on the lot.
I don't have any idea why, just seems the game has been even more temperamental than usual lately.
I can upload it as a build version if you want.... there aren't any spawners or effects besides fog. No addresses and still putting down objects/plants.

I'd offer to build something too, but the last time I built something for a specific world that resulted in Gray's house. The less said about that the better. :roll: Maybe I'll try building something spooky-looking sometime anyway. If it goes wrong, this post didn't exist.

It's the only reason I started it but I don't think I can finish it in time. I worked for 4 hours on this One house... and it's not the biggest I have planned.
How funny, one of my screens is almost exactly the same as one of yours ! Its a nice view isn't it, overlooking the town.
My settings are on medium at present, as always when building, so my fog rendering is quite close and doesn't show the mountains like yours.
There was no one and no lots except the church and graveyards in town when I put my sim in for a quick run around. Except a magician who got a cab and arrived at the Village Green that I'm in the middle of building.
Thanks for all your hard work. I have downloaded many worlds over the years, but yours are the only ones that remain in my game. Just wanted to let you know how glad I am that you have shared all these wonderful worlds

I added some of the dirty green to the world. Had to remove all the layers down to the base and then go back up but it's not that hard.
I have searched high and low for amazing worlds, then I stumbled upon your page, and must I say...I Am Absolutely Blown Away!!! I love your worlds!! They are so unique, and what I've been looking for!!

I made the Green for the 30 x 30 opposite the church. I hope that hasn't interfered with any plans you had for that lot ?
Rflong I just wanted to give you a heads up in case it is a problem - as last night I added some of my own houses and sims to my Pets games and suddenly got wicked slowness in AP loading. The houses i used were the ones i built for your Winter Wonderland - and i am not sure but i think the problem is all the Christmas decor, as it was real slow at rendering - which wasn't the case before Pets. So i set about removing all the free Christmas decor and that Autumn Harvest decor too and i will see tonight if that makes a difference but I feel like EA 's free content may need to be redownloaded, uninstalled from all the house and then reinstalled perhaps. I have simply removed it and the town seemed to speed up. Mind you this was just with 3 of my own houses. I have not added any CAW worlds into my game or any houses or sims made by anyone but me. I only added the new Overwatch to my mods folder and the default Ladyfrontbum skins. I removed all the roof recolors and anything else I had in the mod folder. The only content i have in my game was al redownloaded from the sims store period and like i said i just added my own sims and lots to my library. Also among the lots i added to my library is any of the comm. lots i made for your worlds - like the Backlot redux, the sciencebuilding for LVII, that park with the ship on it for the lagoon in LV II, and things like that. So far i have only tried just those 3 houses - the minty green one, the chocolate vanilla house, and the Peppermint house.
I will see shortly if removing that content fixed it. I also started a new game in A. P. to try these places so i should not have technically had any problems unless those default skins are creating some Havoc. Over at modthesims they said CAS stuff and skins were all okay. Anyway will get back to you when I figure this out. It is always possible it's something else, but my game was fine until I added these measley 25 items which has no CC what so ever except for the sims probably have the default skins - but they are still in my library. It's just the houses.
By the way the new world is brillant!!!

It was easier to remove the layers and add one to the lower level then to repaint the lower level if I put the new grass on the top and painted...
Anyway- I'll take what I can get. Can you tell me what else you want to build?
I was going to ask for help building more lots but I realize without me updating I couldn't use their lots. I don't feel like updating just yet.

I love, love, love your worlds. Have been using both Longview's forever!! I noticed though you had the CAW files for Longview posted in the DIY thread awhile ago and now it's gone. I was wondering if you could repost, I've finally got the hang of CAW (a little bit) and I've always wanted to do the downtown a little different and now that pets is out I can think of a few good spots for the horsey's. I hope I'm not offending because that is the last thing I would ever want to do. You are the most amazing creator of worlds.

It's the only reason I started it but I don't think I can finish it in time. I worked for 4 hours on this One house... and it's not the biggest I have planned.

With pets there is this really large white spooky tree which would fit in as well as all the new rabbitholes, maybe if they were recolored too...
and I can see this town having horses walking around haha
