I built a wonderful starter house but for some reason it is not letting me upload it to the exchange. what do i do now i really wanted to participate in this challenge.
Uploading a lot is not a requirement to enter the challenge. The judging is based on your media that you present. Just make sure your photos of the lot are presented either as a story here in Create A Story or on a photo sharing site, such as Photobucket. As for the lot you may have to try several attempts to get it uploaded especially with the problems with the Exchange.
Thanks for answering that, SP The upload link is mainly asked for so that other Simmers can dl and enjoy your work and so that the judge can install your lot if they have any questions not answered by your media slideshow. Just make sure to take LOTS of pictures (20-30 is a good starting point, more for a larger build), and you should be okay!
LINK TO LOT: None yet. It says it uploaded, but I can't find it in my studio. Will upload to media fire if I don't see it by tomorrow. Still can't upload to this site, even without cc, so here's the media fire link:
LOT SIZE, ADDRESS & FINAL COST: 30x30, 345 Oak Grove Road (I think), Furnished: 15287, Unfurnished: 11318
LOT DESCRIPTION & DETAILS: I tried to keep the home simple and a little oasis of relaxation for our working client. Kept it to an open floorplan and added flowers to the decor, but didn't overwhelm the small area with patterns. Put in artwork that wasn't country, but still had flowers present. I wanted to make a country like home, but make it more girly with color...just not over the top girly or colorful. And somehow managed to come in under budget.
CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM: Yes, please

I just wanted to tell everyone that there are some great starters here! I really like a lot of them and rec'd everyone I could. Virtual rec's for the ones that aren't on this site. I can't wait to download them and put them to use.
LOT SIZE, ADDRESS & FINAL COST: Lot 20x30 at 104 Landgraab in Custom World Final Cost Exactly $16,500
LOT DESCRIPTION & DETAILS: A quaint cottage in robins egg blue is nestled in a lush flower garden. This cozy home is just big enough for a young person or a couple starting out. Or why not come here to live out your retirement days in peace and serenity. The low plantings in the garden are colorful and easy to maintain. The sound of the water in the pond on the side of the home will sooth away your worries. Inside is an open floor plan with simple furnishings. The full bath includes a tub for a good soak. The bedroom with the double bed is light and airy and the perfect place for a good nights sleep or an invigorating mid-afternoon nap. Fresh vegetables are in the back garden along with more fragrant plantings. Come have a sit in the garden and sip some lemonade. Maybe you will be inspired to paint a masterpiece or two.
