I apologize for the lack of formatting and links, I am a new member. It also seems to be clipping my "OFFICIAL ENTRY FORM #212" top line out of my response.
...and I forgot to add "Rainforest" to the description, which I cannot edit. Apologies to the moderators, and can they edit my post/delete all these extras?
Lot Description and details: This is a quick, easy fabrication for the deep jungle. A chain-link fence is used to secure the area from any casual ground creatures, while a fountain adds a cooling element to the air, as well as providing a place for rainwater to collect. A stereo and an easel provide opportunities to appreciate the more scenic outdoors, and the yard would make a great place for a refugee to put a few garden plants. Due to the difficulty of building in deep rainforest, the entire build is on stilts, decreasing the amount of foundation work needed. Inside, two private bedrooms can be found, with a table and chairs for two and just enough space for cooking. Cool, breezy colours are used indoors to help deal with the oppressive heat, and instead of the traditional glass windows, the house is further cooled by slatted screens near the ceiling, guaranteeing a balmy evening every night. With a lot size of only 10x10, this little structure can easily be squeezed into even the densest urban landscape, as well as built right around the edge of the disaster area itself.
@Zincht I couldn't open either of the Photobucket links. I *think* Build-N-Share stopped accepting photo albums on Photobucket a while back, but I couldn't find the info, so I may be wrong. I do still have an account there and thought maybe I could search for you and find it, but that didn't work either.

@BuildnShare What is happening with the judging please? @suzses you're correct, they haven't been judged since #208 I don't have motivation to enter without the little competitive element, I'd rather spend the time playing and building for my in-game simmies
Sorry - we were having some discussions about how to proceed with the Sims 3 challenges behind the scenes, but I think we'll keep things as is for now
@ciane Thank you. I *did* think about it, but the last several months haven't had anyone in the beginner category, and few in the intermediate. I know I'm not qualified for advanced, so I'll take my chances with intermediate. I don't really expect to win my first time, but I'd like to see what the competition is. I also look forwards to constructive criticism to help me improve.
I duplicated my media over on flickr, here's the link (with a space in the address so that it will let me post it) https ://www.flickr.com/photos/156838363@N05/sets/72157690345944023 hope that helps, please let me know which site is better for these contests.

It cut off half of it, which means the pics are out of order. I spent 2 hours trying to get them that way, I think I'm just not cut out for these media sharing sites. www.flickr.com/photos/156838363@N05/albums/72157690345944023

The entry rules that state no photobucket are under the sims4 challenges. I know for a while photobuck required users to pay to allow their pics to be accessed by other sites, but they don't any more. I'll do future challenges on flikr, though, to avoid the confusion.

Hello, lovely Sims 3 BnS participants - it takes a small army to keep BnS running, and we are currently in need of some more folks to help us out behind the scenes. We most need help in the areas below, and you can be considered to take on more than one role if you have the time. (Most of our current staff wear multiple hats!) If you have another idea other than those listed below of how you think you could help BnS maintain/grow our community, please let us know that as well. We are always open to new ideas!

Love your home complex @ciane The light walls make it feel so bright, clean, and hopeful, and I love that there's a basketball court for neighbours to get to know one another over a game. And very clever to save money by using foundations as walls!
Your little cabin looks fantastic @iampes23 . I especially like roof line, the layout, and all the little bits and pieces that make it feel like a welcoming home. There's even a tea set Amazing to be able to fit up to 4 adults and an infant in such a small space!

And, I guess, congrats to all of us on the December challenge.
For those who may have missed it, the results are up for those two challenges in the winner's circle thread.
