Also, does anyone have any suggestions for how to purchase Sims Points? Which bundle is the best deal, in your opinion?
@Loveandhate It partly depends on your goal. Most of the sim point bundles come with mystery bag items, but which mystery bag items partly depends on which sim point bundle. Crinict has comprehensive information about the mystery bag items here: http://sims3.crinrict.com/en/2012/06/mystery-bag-items.html
Personally, I went for the lowest point bundle, because I wanted the dragon mirror. Some of the other mystery bag items are also nice (I especially like the statues), but I didn't want to spend -that- much on points! If you don't care about the mystery bag items, then probably just getting the bundle that has the # of points you want would be the most cost effective way to go.
@Loveandhate - Unlike @Ktarian, I was not looking for mystery bag items but I was looking to save money. At the beginning of the Sims 3 run, SimPoints were not available for a discount, and the denominations were different. A couple times a year, the bundles would go on sale and then I would buy as many as I could afford. Eventually, EA got around to offering a discount on the larger bundles. As soon as the new pricing for SimPoints went into effect, I always bought the largest bundle. It's simple math. Since they have done that, the largest bundle is always the best deal but SimPoints never go on sale any more. If you can afford $160.00US, that bundle offers you 24360 SimPoints, which is like getting 8360 extra SimPoints for "free," compared to the old pricing structure. That's better than a discount of 33% off so that's always the best deal if your wallet can handle it.
Old Pricing Structure:
1000 SP cost $10.00US (on sale on the Daily Deal a few times for 20-30% off)
4000 SP cost $40.00US (on sale on the daily Deal a few times for 10-20% off)
8000 SP cost $80.00US (Never on the Daily Deal, as far I as I remember)
The new pricing can be found on the Buy SimPoints page of course and the savings will be found with the largest three bundles.
I just want to give my thanks to the chocolate princess @charlotteprice, and the lovely @Martje89! I haven't been on the forums as much lately because university started again yesterday I've been so busy and it's only been second day! The worst news is that I already have a midterm next week which makes NO sense and a final before the end of January! Well anyways, regardless of my crazy busy schedule, I still wanted to say thank you to those two who have gave me a little bit of happiness through all of the stress Thanks guys!
@Reachsims I'm glad your explanation was more comprehensive than mine. I know it was in my head to say, 'if you don't care about the mystery bag items, get the highest bundle you can for the best cost-effectiveness' or something like that, but going back and reading what I wrote, I was very vague. Clearly I still need to catch up on my sleep...
@charlotteprice omg thank you so much, thank so to you I can make a new top 5 list. Pinky~Belle has a whole selection of wedding dresses to chose from.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to helping me own the store X
There is no need for you to make a new top 5 post every time it needs updating.
As stated in the first post of this thread, "You MUST edit your original post, NOT create another one. If you make new posts, with new lists, I will ignore them and leave only your original post in the directory."
This just make things easier on Reach, and makes the thread more organized.
So much love for @charlotteprice! Thank you for the two gifts! I'll be able buy Live, Laugh, Love when it comes on DD!
I'm not sure if anybody else is getting this problem, but the Sims 3 Store is acting kinda wonky. The pages won't load and apparently I don't have a wishlist... hopefully somebody fixes this soon! *cross fingers*
Wow it has been so long since I have been on that there were 200 unread posts just on this thread!!!! Happy to be back and to have my computer and sims working again!
