Getting the Game to reload

I saved my game to my thumbdrive and now I can not get the game to load off the thrumbdrive. What should I do? I use public computers and would like to play the game. Anybody else having this problem or know how to get the game to load back up to be played? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

The save files from your thumb drive can be used to replace save files on another computer that the Sims 3 is installed on.

For reference the default save files are found in:

\My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Saves

and you should see save files of your towns/Sims along with copies that say .backup.

Example-

riverview.sims3 and riverview.sims3.backup
