Photo shop or gimp users, do you know how to...

Um not sure how to explain it, when you use the brush tool is there a way to instead of just painting a plain colour, to paint a pattern, like if i found a pattern on google is there a way to paint that with the brush tool, does this make sense?

Yeah, on my paintshop, if you double click the color you are using, there are more options. There's solid color (what you are using), gradient, and pattern.

Idk if this is on all programs, but it is on mine, Paint Shop Coral X

oooh no. Its an actual program. You can buy it at best buy and such but Idk the price. It was a birthday present a few years ago.

Gimp is free isn't it? I just don't know if it has the feature.

Photoshop allows you to paint pattern like texture. In fact, photoshop is very good with texturing. You can even create your own pattern.
