Some help for those who are experincing the 0.0.0.0 Launcher on Windows 7

Hi Everyone. I thought I'd help people who are experiencing the 0.0.0.0 bug. I was experiencing the same thing but I fixed mine. I'm running on Windows 7 Home Premium. I uninstalled all of mine and then followed these steps.
1. Backup anything you might need. Also, take out any CD cracks that you might have in the folders. Uninstall the games and the EA Download manager.
2. Using the following link, install the EA Download Manager and follow the directions up to launching the game

3. Install the base game, followed by High End Loft Stuff, then WA (I didnt install this yet since my friend has it) and then Ambitions. If the game asks to be patched, let it since it will install a higher patch but not the latest.
4. Check to the skuversions for the game versions. They should be at the base level or just a bit higher but not the latest ones.
5. Go to this link: http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/188505.page
Manually patch each game starting from the one just higher than the skuversion to the newest patch. Time consuming but you'll be able to pinpoint which patch is messing up.
6. Open the game launcher. It should say the latest patch for Ambitions. Just reinstall all your CCs, Store and save files and your game should be running smoothly.
P.S.
DONT use CD cracks. The newest patch doesnt like it. I'm sticking to my real ambitions disc even though I dont like having it in my cd drive while playing. It was the cause of my launching failing every time I tried to play the game.
