I downloaded a custom content sim from this website, and although it came with great hair, the outfit was atrocious. So, thinking TS3 is the TS2 I thought I could just delete the outfit. WRONG. I cannot find anyway to delete the clothing without deleting the entire sim. There has to be some way I can delete these ugly clothes (which just my luck, my sims' maternity outfits ALWAYS END UP BEING).
Anyone have any answers?

HOpe this helps
this helped me heaps
It says ':Error: cannot uninstall package without dependents.'
Does anybody know what to do! Because it's a really ungly outfit, and the whole neighbourhood seems to be aging up wearing it >.<
Go to this website. Click "BAD CC: Kategorisiert für Babies/Kleinkinder/Kinder - Liste". Look for the "Shymoo"...That's probably what is doing it. It fixed my babies and toddlers.

I think you're referring to "monster baby." All my toddlers started having hideously long arms and claws and moving around like demons. It was disturbing. The "Taylor Swift lovestory tee" (which I don't remember downloading) is the culprit. Get rid of this item in both Installed Content and Downloads from your launcher and then reload the game and you should be fine.
Hi and welcome to the forum. Here is the link to get rid of bad cc in the game http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/234888.page
I have looked at the site you suggested and I know that the image of the bad CC is there but how do I delete the content? Please help! It has been annoying me for ages and now I've spotted that when my male sims in particular go to the shower they are wearing the boots that I wanna get rid of! Please help!
Is it a .package file? Have a look in your Mods folder. I also advise to download Delphy's Dashboard (for packages) and Cleaner (for sim3packs) and clean up your CC from ModTheSims.
And yes, if it's a sim3pack file and you want to rid your game from it you need to uninstall it using the Launcher in "Installed Content", not "Downloads". Think of it as you downloading a song. It will go into your Downloads folder but you still need to place it into your iTunes.
Go to that site that everyone linked and click Bad CC and look for which one you have. There's a long code under each thing. Copy and paste the code that corresponds with your bad CC in the place where you can search for files (it will be in your Start menu, or in your File Explorer for Windows 8).
If you have that particular CC that you searched for, the computer will find that code you pasted in. Delete THAT file.
I have a feeling a few of those mentioning they are having problems with CC it's not just one file and some of the CC might be hidden in an object you downloaded.
I would try the tool that has been listed, it does work and a lot easier but in case it doesn't .. here is another method you can try. Takes a lot more time but a good way to do an overhaul of your CC file. Especially if you have a lot of CC you dislike and/or bad CC and want to just clean up your game.
1. Go to your The Sims 3 File located Documents - Entertainment Arts - The Sims 3
Make a copy of this file and then save it somewhere safe and easy to find such as on your desktop, you will need this later.
2. Now delete The Sims 3 file located in documents NOT your new save file.
3. Load your game, let it run till you get to pick a world to play screen, Quit.
4. Go back to your documents The Sims 3 file and install a few of your CC, load the game, if it's ok (whatever your problem was is gone) continue to add back your CC till you find the offending files or file. This is a good time to delete any CC you dislike too. I usually have a folder where I place a copy of the CC I just added to my game that way you won't forget or it won't get lost so if you do find some bad CC you know which file it came from.
5. Don't forget to do the same with your Mods folder. This folder holds Mods but it also holds CC in package files.
5. After you are satisfied your CC has been removed you can now add in parts of your original file. Copy from your The Sims 3 folder on your desktop your saves file and replace the one in your new documents The Sims 3 file. You can also transfer custom music, recorded videos and screenshots to this new file.
6. Now your game is ready to play. Most likely when you load up your game it will have a pop up saying "Objects have been replaced". This is ok and showing up because you removed a few CC objects. The game will replace it with similar items.
Hope this helps.
