    Can game make computer crash even when not running it

    Lately my computer that i have my game installed on has been crashing a lot. I just tried to boot it up and minutes later it crashed on me, i tried restarting and it crashed again. It crashed two more times before i decided to shut it off and post this. I wasn't even running the game in either attempts of turning on my computer.

    Basically I was just wondering if my game could be the reason for this happening?
    Simming for 19 years!

      nope. Sorry, but I'm pretty sure it's your pc. Could be the fan went and the pc is overheating, causing it to shut down to prevent complete damage.
