I just installed the new stuff pack. The installation was smooth sailing, no issues. I went to play the game and it treats me as if I've NEVER played it before. All of my saves are gone and the stuff that I've downloaded from the store is gone too. Can anyone explain or help me out?
I went to the save game file and the download file and the stuff is there. It seems that when I installed the game it made a new 'The Sims 3' folder and now there is an old one and a new one. Can I just move all of the old stuff to the new folder?

What is the actual name of the old player data folder? As for your query, you can copy the contents from the old folder into the new one, overwriting if prompted.
