At first I wasn't really sure where to take this. I mean the only red carpet shows I've ever seen are the ones that the media throws down our throats where all the American celebrities have these huge false smiles splayed across their orange faces.
I decided that I wanted it to be modern/cyberpunky yet dark at the same time, sort of a Matrix-ish type feel only without being set in the 90s. This was what I came up with. I built the set myself (you can't see it but that red carpet goes right up to the top) and I did originally intend to have a lot of neon lights and stuff there but I found that they were too distracting so I toned it right down and just left the flaming torches. That may come to bite me in the backside, time will tell
I hope I didn't completely miss the point of this brief. Diva that he is Niwa is less than amused at being paraded about on the red carpet, even in front of his fans
.. I was so waiting for someone else to post before me, just in case I'd missed the point completely. I'll admit, this assignment really threw me; a good thing because it made me think out the box.
Amelia's not a girly girl in the slightest, which is why she's air punching; just to show that she's not a normal pretty girl. She's in a more traditional setting, which goes hand in hand with the steampunk inspired outfit she has on.
She apparently submitted to a bit of elegance by having her hair down for once.

Lexi has a very unique sense of style and loves to show it off. Since she is on the red carpet, she decided to impersonate the celebrities that tend to be either overly dramatic or fake.
