I dont know, but to me.. The game kinda reminds me of a sims playstation game lol.

I remember saying to myself before:
"wow, the sims 2 for pc is waay better than the playstation version"

I just think They kinda stepped back with this game

Do any of you feel this way?
If so, How do you think the sims 3 could have been better?

My own personal opinion is thus:

    Pros of Sims3:
No loading screens (thank the Llamagod)
      More detail to CAS
Items set at 45* angles work and can be interacted with properly
      Item customization is amazingly fun
You can freely age-transition your sims and skip those annoying stages of life
      You can play as ghosts
Traits add a unique flair to the Simulation experience
Objects can be placed offset on the building grids.

    Cons of Sims3:
Can't modify (colour wise) stairs or fences
Camera still 'snaps' while trying to get angles for building
No item rewards for reaching the top job career or fulfilling wishes.
(Few exclusions; Thief career and Chef career give you items. As well as the police career.)
Lack of proper movie making cheats.
    (That I've noticed.)
No way to track memories/events in a Sims life
No apparent difference between "Evil" actions and normal actions aside from what it's called
They focused fired on the face structure of CAS and neglected clothing/hair/body type

Over all, I enjoy the game a lot. None of it's disappointments have been enough to steer me away from playing. I was not overly impressed with the screen shots and some of the changes they announced. I even told myself that I would never bother picking the game up. I am pleased that my husband picked the game up for me as it turned out to be much more pleasant than I assumed. It has bugs, yes. It's only been out a few days. It is a little bare when compared to Sims+expansions and Sims2+expansions, but is otherwise full of things to discover and accomplish.
