How much more stuff can we expect to see in The Sims 3 store? Alternative payment methods in future?

This question has probably been made several times, so my appologies if it has. I just really want to know how often we are going to see new things in The Sims 3 Store.
I'm waiting for a gaming PC for TS3 to come out, along with other electronic items such as new games consols and new phones.
I was also wondering if I could suggest something to EA:
Please could you start a gift card scheme to sell in shops where you can buy a card with a code that you could type into your account and redeem points. It saves us teenagers from having to pester our parents to get their credit cards out and tell you that buying these electronic numbers are a waste of money. I think it's iTunes who currently do it that way (I say "I think" because I don't have an iPod or iTunes, therefore I haven't used it).
It would be great to hear from the creaters and from you fellow forum members on your opinions (or answers as for the store question).
