    Hi Merry!

It took me awhile, but I finally finished my Queen Anne.

May I present to you: Le Jaune Royale

It took me awhile, but I really like how it turned out. I even managed to get the nectary under the deck.

Very nicely finished. My favourites are the gazebo over the hot tub and the island in the pool. Would like to have seen something on the windows in the kitchen. Great picture of the gym. I loved your description on the exchange and you chose a great cover picture. I've left you a rec and boosted your downloads. What's next?

    Have fun!

Thank you so much for the kind words and advice as always!

Crud, I knew I forgot something.

Next? Hmm, well, I need to type up my entry for this contest. Since I took so many pictures, I'll need to start my own thread for it.

I've got a remodel project next, then with the announcement of Seasons, there are a few contests floating around surrounding that.

I'll be back with something...I always am!

    Thank you so much!

Very well done. I remember the Sekemoto house as one of my Sims became that mother to Sam. I like that you started with the same wall covering in every room to carry some consistency. The colours work well. I didn't read the rules, but I guess you had to use their favourite colours and you did it well. Love the touch of the toilet paper above the potty. I've left you a rec. Good luck in the challenge.

    Have fun!

Thank you so much. It's always nice to hear comments on my projects. Actually, using their favorite colors wasn't part of the rules, I just thought it made sense. :D I might have failed at the whole point of the contest, which was to have the house be recognizable as the Sekemoto House, but I really liked how it turned out :D

    Hi,

I was asking if you can check out the roofline for this new home I am making and I thought it was well done. Can you see if there should be any improvements on it before I move on?

Also, can you check the floor plan to see if anything should be change?

The home was built in Starlight Shores.

I've got it Kquinn. I'll be able to take a look at it tomorrow. I don't currently have any store content in my game so I'm glad to see you've only used 5 items. I don't think they will have any effect on what you want me to check. Just one question, what address in Starlight Shores? Nice to put it in the same place.

    Have fun!

kquinn, a slight problem has arisen. I am working on a world and I haven't updated since 1.33. I can't install your house and I don't want to update just yet. I have asked the build moderator, Dini60, at TS3CC II to take a look, but she is on holiday right now and not checking in very often. I'll keep you posted. I'll understand if you don't want to wait.

    Have fun!

Dini60 has taken a look and here are the pictures she sent to me.

First the roof, she says, looks great. You just need to make this one adjustment.
    scree634.jpg

She also said the following adjustment would make the house a little cheaper and help a little with esthetics.

    scree638.jpg

    Hope this helps.

If this has already been addressed, I apologize. Long time simmer. Love to build. I noticed a couple different pre-made houses in the game library that have much lower roofs than the 'pitch control' or 'roof height' adjuster will allow & would very much like to duplicate that. Unfortunately, I'm completely clueless how to make this happen  I've seahced hi-N-low for answers within the forum, but cannot find anything written in layman's terms on how to do this.

    Could someone please enlighten me?!??

No problem. Hello TrulyBeatle. Go to the roofing section and look for a little icon just above the sliders. It will look like an arrow with two points, one up and one down. This is the roof height adjustment tool. You create your roof first. I always suggest you do not use auto roof. Once you have your roof with the style and sections the way you like it, you can use the height adjustment tool to raise or lower individual roofs just by dragging up or down with your mouse. Good luck with your future roofs. And don't worry about asking questions here. I'm always ready to help.

    Have fun!

I can't build much more than a box, but I *am* a downloader, lol. I ventured over to the consortium boards and really liked what I saw - registered, but the email link I receive takes me to an AVG search engine page... dunno... ummm...

Nvm. Figured it out - it was me. It's always me. lol

I posted this commercial lot once before. This time, I've spent time upgrading each & every object to "unbreakable". I hope you enjoy, it took a lot of time but it's much more fun when you can visit a lot & everything works.

    The No'Tello Inn *Now Unbreakable*
    DL at http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=6246221

Part of the No-Tell Motel franchise, this small inn has 2 rooms & an outdoor lounge on a 20x30 lot.

All objects have been upgraded, so the only broken things here are hearts.

The rooms feature vibrating beds, tvs with unlimited pay-per-view movies, lounging sofas, & private baths.

The outdoor lounge includes a courtyard with jacuzzi, 2 fireplaces, lounging sofas, radio set to the Quiet Storm station, & a full bar.

Hey MerryWiddow and everyone else who might be listening

I've created this website, along with the idea that there should be a website that functions just like a real estate website where you can browse different designs and different lots for the Sims 3. As I'll be in school soon, and for a while, i'll have little to no time to fill it up with content, which is why I'm trying to gather some affiliates to fill the site up with content

this is the website, so you can get an idea of what I'm trying to say
    http://thesims3realestate.weebly.com/index.html

I'd like to invite you to feature your creations, and I'd like to invite everyone who reads this to submit their creations for the website...

All in all, I'd like for this website to function really well and effortlessly... I have tried to hard to look through the exchange for decent houses... and lots and there isn't a one stop shop website to find exactly what you want and how you want, so that's what I want to create.

Anyone who contributes to the site a lot will get their own creation page and all credit will be given where it's due, The only credit I really want is creating a place to find everything efficiently.
