As some predicted it sounds like Turn Ons and Turn Offs won't actually include physical characteristics such as hair/eye colour, facial hair, glasses etc like in TS2:
"Categories for these include Activities, Characteristics, Fashion, and Romance Style."
Disappointing if true.
Don't the characteristics refer to physical characteristics?
I suppose they could do, but I interpreted that to mean traits, the way that Growing Together added 'Sim Characteristics' to the Likes/Dislikes.

I see, but I don't think they wouldn't add attraction for physical attributes. There was a sim with a dumbell, I think there should be at least an attraction for fitness if nothing else.
Lots of interesting stuff in the leak. It sounds like a large romance update with many new interactions between sims which sounds very promising.
If you want to discover anything in the new pack you might want to stay away from this though because this sounds like they are leaking everything that will come in the new pack. It's so much that I'm a bit surprised EA have not taken action.
Those jellyfish lamps are nice too. But the lizard is the cutest.
Did you notice the heart bookends on the fireplace?
I did, I like them too. Also love the new heart earrings and necklace. I am intrigued by the new game, wonder what game it is. The bear looks quite sad playing it.
The sims not interrupting a date unless invited into conversation is everything I've wanted. Hope they tested it with dine out. That would be a game changer for me.
I love every feminine hairstyle and outfits I've seen. I was not expecting much from the CAS.
From the little glimpses of the world it looks very pretty and very colourful, with those flags (can’t remember their name?) everywhere and some nice plants.
Cupid's Corner can connect to the Gallery. Imagine your sim picks a date, but you don't have the basegame hair replacement or skin tone that the uploader used, which isn't registered as custom content. They come into your game looking completely different. I feel that would be a form of catfishing.
EDIT: Thinking about it, this could be really tricky. Sims would have to exclude CC, which is easy enough. Sims would have to be base game (and maybe Lovestruck) only to avoid missing assets if you don't have the packs those assets come from. Or they can have anything, meaning that they could be missing a ton of content when you download them. I don't think they will have filters, given the Gallery's own filters haven't worked in 10 years.
Sounds like we'll have elements of non-mutual relationships, albeit they're only for romances. Could be fun. If they execute the landing well, I'd be very happy.
Sounds like you can have group dates, and move to a different location during a date. And they're finally preventing strangers from wandering up and interrupting. Niiiice.
I ike that the other sim can end the date early if it's not going well. It reminds me of the Sims 2 date system, where you don't have goals, but how well your sims get along and what they do together will determine if a date goes on for a while, or fizzles out and ends quickly. I prefer the Sims 2 system over having set goals, but this could be a big step up from the current system.
The costume box is interesting, I love the concept. Though at the same time, I hope those costumes come with new interactions or something. Otherwise, what's the point? You change into them, flirt once, and then take them off to WooHoo. It'd only be useful for pictures, and we have costumes for that already. I hope they have some fun gameplay elements.
I hope we have a lot of costumes. The blue bear costume gives me hope that we won't just have sultry costumes, but more "out-there" costumes for certain sims.
Also I hope we can use those costumes for Seasons' Spooky Day events. So many sims would love to wear something more risque for the holiday. Tbh the whole seasons costume system needs an update.
I like the idea of dying of a broken heart. Relatable. I just hope that the game is not too lenient, where you have to actively force multiple break-ups all at once to achieve it. It's bad enough that so many deaths are hard to achieve, even when you work for them.
SEDUCTIVE DANCE
The world seems dull. It looks pretty, but they're not inspiring a lot of interest when the selling points are a gym, a museum, a park and a beach.
IS THAT A LIP COUCH, LIKE THE ONE FROM THE SIMS 2? The legs are different but still!
I like what I see with the BB. I especially like the floral wallpaper and the axolotl.
EDIT: I like the two new traits, but the fact that we're limited to 3 traits (unless you buy Growing Together) is hurting the game again. Like imagine 1/3rd of your entire personality and identity is dedicated to how much you like flirting. It's great if you want to make some comedic sim or test out the trait, but otherwise it just points out the issue with traits.
I wonder how the Romance skill will pair with Charisma? That skill already unlocks romantic options and can make it easier to flirt. Moodlets aren't enough - I hope we get a lot of exclusive animations.
Overall, more than I thought we'd get. If this was combined with Growing Together, it would have been a fantastic EP. But I feel like a lot of this will come down to the execution, which is where packs tend to falter. I think it'll be a nice addition to the game, but I doubt it'll be worth buying at full price... But I'm paying full price for those stupid FOMO items, so.

The Sims 4 hasn't introduced a new musical instrument since 2017

I think I'm more excited about the new Heartshape Bed than anything. However, I do like the new outfits, jewelry, some of the other objects & the new romance play. That been said, I'm a little concerned about the new world ever since poor Tomarang. Hopefully, the new world will work.
My own opinions and hey, a reason to procrastinate on my studying, lol.
Cupid's Corner is a surprise with it supposedly being able to connect to the Gallery. I saw some takeways in a comment section thinking this will only include your own library, but the wording says "the entire Gallery". This sounds... kind of ambitious, actually. Which I say is good for the game, but due to how EPs have been, I'm also thinking this could end up being kind of a flop. Interested, but I'm a little doubtful.
Wow, dating sounds like it's going to be a real improvement. If this works and it lands right, that would be something I can see myself using often. Other Sims not interrupting is fantastic and I love that we can move to other locations too. If this is all real, I've got no complaints here, this sounds great.
The "grown-up costume box" is a surprise. I don't know what to think of this other than to see how it actually works in-game. Is it an extra outfit slot? Does it come with interactions? How does it tie in to the game? Too many questions for me there.
Huh, a new death type. It sounds much more reasonable than some of the game's emotional deaths, but if it ends up being too easy to avoid, it could easily end up being a feature of the pack that everyone forgets/ignores.
I'd love the idea of Romance Dynamics if we could actually see them have a meaningful gameplay effect. So far, I hardly notice the ones in Growing Together besides a moodlet or two. It'd be great if Wholesome Sims had totally new interactions/animations with each other compared to, say, Strained. We'll see if it's essentially a reuse of Growing Together or if they did something with it.
Physical attraction confirmed? I think? "Characteristics" sounds like it, so if so, that's cool. And once again, this EP seems to suggest that Sims need to put in work consistently to have a stable relationship with their partner, so if handled well (and properly adds at least a little difficulty to the game), I'm very interested in this feature.
The traits sound... forgettable. Lovebug sounds like Romantic and Romantically Reserved sounds like Unflirty/Non-committal. We'll have to see what they do, but I feel like whatever they add should've just been merged into the other traits. For example, you could create a Sim that's Romantically Reserved, Unflirty, and Non-committal. That's hardly a personality. With all these traits, I really feel like it's time for more trait slots. With how much they tend to lack in depth, 5-7 slots don't sound unreasonable to me.
If memory serves, traits like "Good" and "Genius" got some updates a while back. Where are more of those?
I'm not sure about the skill. Level 10 Charisma already makes forming relationships very easy and an "aura of flirtiness" that's on constantly sounds pretty bad. Worse if it has a visual effect. It'd be really annoying if my vampire-slaying... vampire (lol) had an aura of pink on him all the time. If it's an ability, that would be better, though I think of the Vampire aura in TS4 Vampires. A previous leak, I believe said it would also add new interactions, so... we'll see, I suppose.
The career being off-screen is a disappointment and something I'll definitely ignore. Match-making could've worked as a reuse of the Detective Career. You go meet with a Sim and you have your Sim ask questions to learn the Sim's preferences. Then your Sim goes out and interviews singles to find the most compatible Sim and your Sim arranges for them to go out together. Afterwards, your Sim gets a text/call with the results of the date. If everything went extremely well, your Sim is invited to their wedding. (Pretending weddings function well, anyway) The interactions sound reused too.
For the world, I'm very happy that it's including some penthouses. However, the world sounds ultimately disappointing. 13 lots is far too small. Even basegame worlds tend to have more than that. I hope it's pretty at least, but as usual, the world sounds like it'll be a weakness of this pack.
The venue interactions, once again, sound reused. Your Sim can already "Show Off Fitness". Just replace "Fitness" with "Muscle". You can already View Art Together. Just create a group and have them view art. You can already "Watch Sky" (Cloudgaze) together, just have Outdoor Retreat. The only interesting part of this to me is the "Seductive Dance". I doubt it's some raunchy "bump & grind" or whatever, but as long as it isn't too childish, I'll be happy for that. Unless it's a solo dance, then I'll be disappointed, lol.
TL:DR: I'm starting to find myself disagreeing that this sounds like a Game Pack. This is more than I thought we'd get and its on top of a world, BB, and CAS. While the career sounds lame and the world is much too small, we seem to be getting a large expansion to Romance in general. If it lands well, this could be a pretty fun expansion. And frankly, we've needed a decent EP for a while now.

corner of the picture that has heart bed and bear rug
theres also what I refer to as Goth house sofa in different pictures
I think I saw it in Iron Seagulls new video. It looks like there is a lip sofa in one of the new bars.
Also I wonder if that bear rug will work like the romantic blanket.
hopefully another variant of the love blanket
I think I have to be careful where I place these blankets if we have em cause if Fengs find one in a park its gonna be bad (which is ironic cause Lily is unflirty but Fengs always be woohooing each other when I'm just trying to have neighborly visit or something )
I’m a bit sceptical about dating sims on the Gallery. I just can’t see how that will work without any issues. Not that it’ll be much of an option for me because I play offline anyway. But presumably the game will have to download that Gallery sim while you’re in game mode? And then there’s the issue of the chosen sim using pack content you don’t have, let alone the CC issue others have mentioned. If they can get this to work smoothly that will be impressive.

On the plus side, if you create a sim self you could use the gallery as a sort of dating service.

Unless sims can just lay down anywhere... uh yeah, nope.
