Ceiling "platforms"

I don't know the proper architectural terminology I'm looking for, but in my building experiments, I keep wishing for a way to lower portions of a ceiling--like an upside-down platform--so we could mount chandeliers and other elements to make them drop closer to the ground. I also envision this reverse-platform tool allowing us to build rooms with different ceiling heights on the same story.

While I'm at it...how about the ability to place rugs and wall art on ceilings?

I'm sure more ideas will pop up as I continue building a new castle for Her Heinousness...

yeah I kind of wish we had that cause I hate it when I want to use wall height 2 or 3 for the exterior but then the interior is so out of scale

I also wish we had proper ceiling beams like real chonkers that would not block the view when looking from above but would show when you are in room with walls up just like ceilings should (there could also be same beam but one that is visible from up and down because I realize there is spaces where that would make sense too)

    same about medallions and such

and yeah more ceiling murals etc fancy ceilings that could go in floor category
