An idea for long term goals and aspirations

You see how in CAS your sim gets a trait based on the aspiration you set? I figured something similar could be done to implement long term goals.

For each aspiration type (creativity, deviance, family…) there could be a list of long term goals that you could choose from. This would come in addition to the current small goals/milestones we have in the game.
The thing is, once you’ve chosen a long term aspiration in CAS, it’s set in stone for the whole sim’s life, even if you change the aspiration during gameplay.

There would be no penalty for players who aren’t interested in completing it. However, if completed, it could grant a sim a permanent happy moodlet and points for the reward store.

This new feature would be a new helpful tool to help players create and drive a narrative for their sim, on top of adding even more characterization.
I also feel like both short-term goals (milestones) and long-term goals co-existing would be a very realistic thing to have.
I always saw the milestones more as a "middle-term hobby" during a Sim life, because the game expects you to switch aspiration every now and then given how they're both easy and often quick to complete.

I did a small proof of concept thing (I couldn’t find the exact font used in the UI so I stuck to the sims font):

New slot in CAS, top left of the aspiration slot:
Pyc1USZv54.webp

Clicking on the new slot would open a panel with the list of the goals attached to the selected aspiration’s type:
0ChlA8UNB0.webp

Hovering over a goal would open a small overlay text box:
dGLr8PKMCm.webp

Finally, selecting a long term goal would add the icon into the slot:
S6siu8r8At.webp
