There is not enough eerie-ness in this game, we need a new creepy world!

I loved Forgotten Hollow appearance-wise, but it's so small and boring that I never use it. I really would like a world with a similar eerie vibe but that is maybe the size of Tastosa with trails like San sequoia or komorebi has. The world could include the following:

1. The trails are in a darkened lush forest, which can have certain moodlets and reactions from sims, and at night.. well thats when you want to not be alone on the trails! maybe random sim ghosts pop up to scare you or you hear sounds/feel breezes (via moodlets) and maybe sims autonomously hold out a flashlight as they walk (similar to San Sequoia with the food/water breaks) and the trail can lead to like some kind of national park or something (with a loading screen of course haha)

2. A new carnival or haunted fairground lot type. (heck, maybe this could be for a carnivals pack!!) And there is a rabbithole funhouse but everything else is not, such as carnival games like balloon darts and other kinds, cotton candy machine, carnival foods stand, a ticket booth to collect prizes from games, and maybe bring back bobbing for apple, face paint booth and the carousel from TS3?

3. If a carnival pack, it could offer a new WFH/rabbithole or freelance career as maybe a face painter or something lol

Idk, I know this is not likely, but the world theme itself I think is possible and is needed. TS4 is too bubbly in almost every town you travel to. I would like some creepy small town vibes with actual eerieness! I miss the vibes from The Sims 1 and 2.

I loved Midnight Hollow in the Sims 3. I would love a similar world in Sims 4.

Would love if they added a small travelling circus and they could offer carnival type careers, something like animal trainer, fortune teller, acrobat, sad or happy clown, mime, magician, etc. There could be a small stage like in TS1 and you could register to perform there. Spectators could throw money at you if they like the performance or tomatoes and eggs if they don't.

Sims3 store had some really cool and unique worlds with their own aura, I would love to have a world mixed with Midnight hollow and Lucky Palms.

Almost all the worlds in S4 look the same aesthetic wise besides the architecture.

I wouldn't mind a "haunted world" and a lot trait challenge to be applied in other worlds. And make the forest dark! If you're out at night, without a flashlight (with varying power), the ghost sims will get you, and your Sim would be whisked away until morning where they return dazed or uncomfortable - do they dare include a death by ghost?. Also include protection lights at those specific lots to keep the ghosts outta your house.

1000 times YES!! Forgotten hallow is the closest thing we have to a creepy world and its not creepy it's just tiny.
Moon wood mills has that one creepy area where Greg lives but we need a whole creepy world with swamps, willow trees, caves and tunnels, creepy noises, creepy moodlets, flashlights, creepy vfx, dim lighting, creepy fog, distant screams, unexplained whispers, creepy calls, creepy text messages. Would also be nice to get creaking floor boards. So like a haunted version of strangerville.
Zombies, oh please oh please give us zombies!! :'(

Also would be so good time to add a grim reaper
    Career and creepy graveyard lots.
I'd say zombies but I think zombies should come with apocalyptic theme. They are similar but different enough themes to be separate worlds/packs.

That would be cool. I like Forgotten Hollow but it is too small.

Forgotten Hollow is too overt for my taste, with its graves, werewolf altars and bat cave it feels more like a themepark.

Moonwood Mill is more what I imagine an eerie world like - there's this perfectly mundane forest by the roadside, then you pass all those abandoned buildings and start to feel a little nervous, maybe, and then there's the decorated tree in the middle of nowhere and now the hair in your back is really up.

If I were a designer on Sims 4 I would make a creepy town
    • It would be a rather large map
    • A central Downtown area with a small park in the center
    • The Main Streets would meet in this central area surrounding the park but leave enough room for parallel parking spots should Cars be introduced
    • At the head of the Park I'd place a Town Hall rabbit hole
    • I'd place the Central Library and School Lot close by the Town Hall on one of the major streets
    • I'd have a large Manor House placed on a hill overlooking town very forbiddingly
      th?id=OIP.QaOiGgLLaVlJEZr9xWpuPwHaEK&pid=Api&P=0&h=220
    • I'd have a wedding venue lot in the form of a church - it would have a bell tower
    • the Cemetery would be adjacent
    • At another end of the town we'd have an ominous looking Science Lab
    • The Town Hall would have a Clock that will ring
    • Additional Community Buildings: If you dont have a pack it would be blank or a shell building
      • Restaurant
      • Pub
      • Day Spa
      • Potential Retail Lots
        • Antiques
        • Book Store
        • Candle Shop
        • Candy Store
        • Florist Shop
        • Furniture Shop
        • Magic Shop
    • Residential spaces can dot the side streets with the nicer homes on one end heading towards the manor
    • Heavily forested and mountainous with Hiking trails and a few spots for rock climbing
    • The forrest will have owl hoots at night
    • Creepy Amusement Park
    • Hermit Hut by a Fishable Lake

    Newness
    • Bell Ringing as a potential club, and hidden skill
    • Build/Buy Items
      • Astrolabe
      • Bat Houses that attract Bats
      • Bell Tower build pieces
      • Creepy Yew tree somewhere in the forest
      • Magic Mirror

      • Moon Dial - Lunar Horoscope
        5b967d9b40e09ba20bd062a49081c6ff.jpg
      • Tesla Coils
        nikola-tesla-extra-coil-1024x825.jpg
    • Candy & Chocolate Making attached to Cooking Skill
    • Community Lots - I would take this opportunity to Update Retail Lots with Lot Sub-Categories (Also what stores I'm hinting I would like to see in future). I'd like to see this done with restaurants & museums too. The Sub-Lot category would pop up as a choice if you have the associated packs for example Magic Shop = GTW + ROM, Candle Shop = GTW + EL
      • Cemetery Lot - with Catacombs to explore
      • Retail - Sub Categories
        • Retail Lot - Antiques
        • Retail Lot - Art Gallery
        • Retail Lot - Book Shop
        • Retail Lot - Candle Shop
        • Retail Lot - Candy Store/Chocolatiers
        • Retail Lot - Clock Shop
        • Retail Lot - Clothing Store - Ladies
        • Retail Lot - Clothing Store - Mens
        • Retail Lot - Electronics Store
        • Retail Lot - Florist
        • Retail Lot - Furniture Store
        • Retail Lot - Grocery Store
        • Retail Lot - Jewelry Store (Just need gem cutter and a Jewelry making bench, we already have gem stones in game)
        • Retail Lot - Magic Shop
        • Retail Lot - Perfumery (Just need a distillation set up, would be a great cross with glassblowing for pretty bottles)
        • Retail Lot - Pet Store
        • Retail Lot - Toy Store
      • Fog
        spooky-towns.jpg
      • Grandfather clocks would now have to be wound and will chime at Midnight, 6am, Noon, and 6pm. You can choose the chimes
        • Westminster
        • Whittingham
        • Ode to Joy
        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nj3hJ1OrLTw
      • Bring back tuning for violins, guitars and pianos
      • Gates would have the option for squeaks vs silent
        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4t4hWw4wRY&t=3s
      • NPC wolves in the forest. Will Howl individually or in answer to other wolves howling
      • Fortuneteller Career
        TS3_Supernatural_FortuneTeller.jpg
        • Caravan
        • Career with the branches
        • Fortune Teller Skills

Simple Solution is to Make the Grim Reaper Pack I voted for, have the pack be set in the nether realm, it might be fun to explore the Sims equivalent of the Afterlife, as for your Carnival have the sad clown be in charge of it.
