Just to be clear what I am going for is a bit of old school luxury in my hotel choices. Something that centers around the aesthetics and service. Also since the Sims tends to skew American I went for more of a Great Britain feel with a bit of luxury Egypt. I tossed in a little Overlook Hotel too. This may not be everyone's cup of tea stylistically speaking, some people maybe want something simple like a bed & breakfast or the great American Road trip where you stay in kinda tacky cheap places.

That would be lovely. Would love if the hotel was pet friendly not just dog friendly meaning that they allow all pets. Would also like if we could order gourmet pet dishes as room service for our pets.
Yes yes yes! Finally some others people are talking about this I love the idea of a hotel pack and also create a world 🌍 I started a petition for caw but a hotel one might be next lolll 😂 link to the petition for caw: https://chng.it/x7SX7zyWN2
I would definitely be interested in a hotel game pack (similar to the restaurant game pack) that is entirely focused on a really well designed system for making, visiting, and running hotels. I'm most interested in being able to build my own hotel lots, set the uniforms from CAS like we can for restaurant uniforms, build in different types of amenities (pools, gyms, room service etc.), and have it all work like a hotel when I bring my sims there for a stay. I'm not as interested in owning and running them, but I know a lot of players would want that, so I think it should also be part of the pack.
I do see some potential issues (besides just the usual "things not working properly" problems we keep having with complex systems). One is just the limit on how many sims can be on a lot. Large hotel builds would definitely feel weirdly empty. But small hotels, inns, and bed and breakfast type builds would probably seem fine. There also could be some controversy about needing other packs such as Spa Day or Dine Out to be able to have those amenities on the hotel lot. But I think if they designed it so that any functional objects you put on the hotel lot spawn the right type of employees to run them, and trigger visiting sims to use them, it would be fine. That way players would be able to use whatever packs they have to create really interesting and unique hotels. Could be a lot of fun to see what kinds of weird and exotic ideas simmers come up with using a system like that.
I currently create fake "hotels" by setting the lot type to spa or restaurant or night club and making rooms up above that main attraction for my sims to stay in. If I want to see other sims spending time in the other hotel rooms, I set up Get Together clubs that come and use the items in the rooms (using rules like "sleep" or "watch TV"). But it would be nice to have it set up to actually work like a real hotel.

I don't see why not since there is already gourmet pet food in game.

I could care less about controversy, we have controversy over free stuff that goes into the base game. You cannot make everyone happy. Why should we cater to people who didn't spend the coin over those who did? Besides this is what cross-pack functionality looks like. If you have the right packs new stuff unlocks for you or works in new ways. Almost nothing I listed requires an outside pack to make the hotel work well. If you don't have or don't want Spa Day for example, you still can run a very nice hotel. You aren't being shortchanged. Room Service would work independently from any Restaurant just as it did in Sims 2 you only need Dine Out if you want to make a fancy restaurant within the Hotel. If you have Spa Day then you get to be able to add a spa to your hotel, and it incentivizes Simmers who didn’t purchase Spa Day to do so because having the Hotel pack adds more value to the Spa Pack and vice versa. If you have Cats & Dogs you get to bring your pooch. If you don't have the EP you cannot bring a dog, it's that simple you don't get free dogs just so someone doesn't complain.

I think I would love for it to be an expansion pack like seasons it doesn't have a world it's not tied to a world. Or have an actual vacation with multiple hotels and resorts like in Sims 2 and 3, have scenic and picturesque scenery, go hiking, swim in the ocean, snorkeling and scuba diving, relax on the beach, have a honeymoon suite with the heart shaped jacuzzi and the heart shaped massage bed. Have rabbithole tours, buy souvenirs, and get a refreshed moodlet like we did in Sims 2.

I'd like a pack like this but after For Rent i can't think about something new about the Hotels gameplay, could anyone imagine how they could differ from the Residential Rentals?
P.S.: I don't own For Rent and don't know much about its gameplay.

Allowing sims to vacation instead of moving into rentals plus treating it as a vacation instead of a move.
I know I commented on this thread before but I was thinking I would love for the Sims vacations like Sims 2 Bon Voyage to go check in get a room with either one or two bedroom, have room service, relax at the pool, the beach, buy souvenirs, have picturesque scenery like in Jungle Adventure where you can take pictures. Have like a honeymoon suite. Also Sims 4 Get Relaxed should be the title.
For hotels and vacation world it would be rad if there was a receptionist at the loby front desh who could schedule and arrange activites you are taken to, (like secret worlds). and you experience/play activities like yachts, boats swamp tours, trolley rides... (builds with moving background), and/or golfing, and/or amusement parks, ... and more, but NOT rabbit holes. Actually playable experiences like skiing.
For hotels I really wanna see this: Large aquariums in the lobby for fancy hotels
You can put any fish in the aquarium that you can catch in the wild. Like how the small aquariums from Cats & Dogs or Spa Day work.
I had a better idea for improvements to aquariums than this to be honest. If you added this to hotels then they would become incidental. Better to place them in a pack where they would be one of the main focuses. In my suggestion for various improvements to Museums I suggested a Maritime Museum with attached Aquarium.
Those aquariums they use in the TikTok tile seamlessly and look really nice against the wall to give the impression of a full wall aquarium. Would be nice if we could stock them with different fish so they don't look like a repeating pattern. Ideally I would love to be able to store in them whatever fishes my sims catch.
I believe that a hotel pack would be so awesome, if it included the idea that LeucosiaX mentioned about hotels and vacation worlds. However, I do also believe that with all the bugs in the new For Rent expansion pack that it would be a great idea to fix those bugs first because it is a similar type of idea.

I know right. Kind of bucket list stuff. Some pictures I'm not sure where the hotel is but I can tell you some of them.

OR you could do an Aquarium with an attached Splash Pad/Water Park. Like the Texas State Aquarium

With my aquariumtweaks mod, you can actually do that.
Elevators should also be a new WooHoo location like in Sims 2 and Sims 3.
