We had the music festival event in 2022, and no repeat so far in 2023, right?
It's getting a little late, as summer is drawing to a close, but I would have loved to see a repeat of that event this year.
I think that was in 2021. I don't think we'll see any more of them.
I was wondering if they might have used that as a test for a band pack. I really liked the reactions from the fans/concert watchers. I think it would be neat if they brought it back again.

Sorry if off topic but what is the difference between a game patch and an actual game update? Is a game patch a smaller one and the pre-EP patch is the actual "update" with bigger features added into the base game?

Whenever there is a new DLC released the game needs to be updated to be able to handle the new DLC. These patches are always updates for the base game, so for everyone. Most of these patches also offer some new or improved items/game play. Simmers often refer to a patch by mentioning the DLC which it was meant to facilitate. But a patch doesn't have to be in preparation of a DLC. Some patches are big, some are small. It depends on the changes or added content. But as far as I know a patch is a patch, it is always needed to play online.
The other option is a SDX which adds something to the game but doesn't need changes to justify a new game version.

Basically a Patch and an Update is the same thing.

The Second Patch is releasing Tuesday.
I hope so, I would love a band pack!
