@crocobaura What you say is definitely true. This feature is not compatible with the chemistry system, but I've never said that I want to combine them together. I think that if the devs had believed so much in the effectiveness of the chemistry system, they would have used it in Sims3 and the 4. as well. But it didn't happen that way, and I feel we won't see it in Sims 5 either.
But now, you just described again the essence of the chemistry system, as it says, "if you set blue eyes as attractive, it understands that."
I hate to repeat myself, but you can't fall in love with someone based on eye color. The selection of the real one is not made on the basis of insignificant physical traits.
Seriously.. why is it so hard to admit that the current attraction systems needs some human intelligence.. We should finally get over this physical compatibility topic, and the game shouldn't be pushed behind such a law.
I dream of a Sims where the meanings of the words attractive and average have some significance in the game. I would like to see that certain build-up in the game, where even the most average sim can get his beautiful dream princess with a long, persistent effort, and it's not the eyes and hair colors that determines the relationship between them.

The chemistry system in TS2 didn't bar you from having a relationship with a certain sim, it was simply making it easier if attraction was high or more difficult if attraction was low. You could add more preferences than eye colour and you could totally leave that preference out if you don't think it's relevant for your sim. However, you keep mentioning average looking and beautiful sims, so if you want to add elements of physical attraction then you need to define what they find beautiful. Like the poster above who posted pictures of girls he fancied, I would say his dream sim would be long blond hair, brown eyes, young adult, big boobed, thin, not muscular, and tanned.

I appreciate your persistence, but I'll say it for the last time.. With the chemistry system, you can't define physical characteristics on the basis of which we can fall in love with a person. In those pictures, maybe the blonde hair and the tanned skin which have more significant influence, but these two factors just in it self are still not enough to make someone such irresistible. Those girls in the pictures are made pretty by such factors that go beyond the possibilities of the chemistry system. But I just talked about this ..about four comments earlier...
For someone who knows the chemistry system as well as you, why does this have to be explained about twenty times?

You are not arguing your point very well then. I am fine with how the chemistry system worked in TS2, I don't want a game defined beauty standard and certainly don't want the game to treat chemistry like some sort of high-school popularity based on perceived beauty contest.

How else should I arguing then? Over about twenty comments I tried to let you know that I am not interested in the chemistry system.. Or you still think that I wasn't patient enough? If I have to be honest, I feel that this whole comment war between us was a total waste of time..

I understood perfectly well that you don't like the chemistry system, I wasn't trying to convince you to like it. I was only pointing out why I think it's a good system.

One thing I hope the Sims Team considers is favorite likes. If two sims like the same color or the same music for example they would be attracted to each other. After that hair types, eye color, weight, hair length, hairstyles, makeup, glasses, jewelry etc etc.
