@EnkiSchmidt what a great idea! The occult and sixamese classes are awesome! Do you maybe remember where you got the Sims icons from?

This took me so long, but after a lot of headaches and frustration, I'm starting to figure out the absolute basics of rendering Sims in Blender. I used Jacques as my model because he's one of my favorite townies (I tried using my Sim self, but I can't get the alpha cc to look right yet). The headaches were worth it, I like the outcome. I tried to make the bottom surface completely reflective, but I think that's beyond my skill level right now.
@jamie2112 Wow that's awesome! Which tutorial did you use, if I may ask?
I found a new app, it's called 'Photo Studio' the adds aren't too annoying and it's really great.
At the moment I use both apps. Incollage for editing and stickers and Photo Studio for text, banners, frames and effects.
If anyone has any tips for making glasses lenses clear (with or without a glare) in Blender, let me know! Here's a young adult Cassandra Goth who got a makeover
I'm learning the functions of the app to create new banners and profiles and stuff.
(I forgot to save Kiyoshi therefore he's missing -.- and Vlad and Ji Ho are still Clara and Housekeeper Rottenmeier because they were in the other household when I took the screenshots ^^')
But it's so amazing what these apps are capable of. Oh my when I started with editing back in the days it took me 8 hours to create a business card and I'm still not able to print my adress labels so they fit properly on the sticker sheet omg ^^'
Played with my apps again and the result is a kind of David Bowie inspired album cover π you never know where it's going ^^'
It fits him well since he's half vampire/half dark elf and loves computer so much. Ah he looks so beautiful.

Sorry for the late reply, still going through computer troubles. I think the dl was called sims 4 get together icons. Looking forward to catching up on the Heidi story arc later, the edit looks amazing already.
Back when I started using poses in Sims 4 (2018?), I had the idea of re-creating all the box arts with my own sims. I postponed that project again and again, but now I present to you the Detroit Police Department:
I misplaced the smartphone cc, but the sim who is supposed to be holding it in the picture is a technophobe anyway, so he doesn't mind.
Left to right CAROLINE, CHRIS and CONNOR - triple C.
Ingame animations, not posed.
A romantic camping trip to the woods? Of course that calls for the main couple.
Again ingame animations were used and the sims refused to roast their marshmallows while sitting on the treestump bench, so I had to let them sit on the ground.
This is an AI-generated image with some tweaks from me of my Sim, Elmire, inspired by her music. I've noticed that a lot of the image generators have improved significantly with hands and texts, but details (like piano keys) are still extremely difficult...
@EnkiSchmidt Your covers are awesome! And it's so funny because I know your sims from your stories ^^' And it's so well done. Just perfect.
@haneul Your AI edit is so beautiful! Do you think it resembles your Sim well? When I do this the edits have their features but if I would see them somewhere out of context, I wouldn't think: ah, this is my Sim! If you know what I mean? But I have problems with face recognition anyway, so that's just me maybe (And which App did you use?)
And with gimp, I placed the photos in the screenshot where Noxee shows them to Jack and Saiwa.
After ten years+ of using gimp I updated a few months ago and just for these edits I found out that the 'Unified Transform Tool' improved a lot! It was just like magic dragging the 2d photos into the screenshot like it moves into the room, wow.

Thank you! I used DALLΒ·E 3. I think the generated image does resemble my Sim well and that those familiar with that Sim would be able to instantly recognize who it is. I generated that image based on my Sims' character/personality and home as well (but a dreamlike version).
ETA: I deleted the hybrid edits. Anyway, I went in-game after I generated the image to see if I could make things match a bit more. This is what I managed.
@haneul Your AI image art is awesome! It really does look like Elmire! I said to myself even before reading your post, "Is that Elmire? That's Elmire!" Your screenshot of her matches the AI picture very well! @EnkiSchmidt Your covers are so cool I especially like the Get To Work one! @Lenny_Ogg Your photos of Jack as a child are great! I like how you edited the pictures into the photo album in the other screenshot!
This is an album cover I made for a sim who had a concert in my story. I created it in Canva.
Front of the album
Back of the album, showing the song list (I tried to use Sims-related things for some of the song names)
@MrPlumbob Oh wow! This is an amazing idea and the songs fit so well π€
You even added a record studio π
I should have done that for our tour too. Maybe next time ^^'
We even did this once and I forgot it ... oh my. I will try to remember.
Noxee took yoga lessons to recreate the iconic cover of Grace Jones' Island Living album.
Since I don't use CC, mods and poses I was happy that it worked out so well with only ingame stuff.
The original album cover photo has a very interesting background story:
'The cover picture is one of the most famous images of Grace Jones and was created by her then-partner Jean-Paul Goude. The impossibly graceful arabesque is actually a montage of separate images, following Goude's ideas on creating credible illusions with his cut-and-paint technique. The body position is "anatomically unlikely".[2] The picture was originally published in New York magazine in 1978 and subsequently used in the music video for Jones' hit single "La Vie en rose". It has been since described as "one of pop culture's most famous photographs".[3] Also included in the album sleeve are other iconic images of Jones, among them the "twins" photograph, Grace Jones in a cage and wearing a "maternity" dress.
The cover picture was featured in Michael Ochs' 1996 book 1000 Record Covers[4] and has been often imitated in works by other artists.[5]'

We needed an old map for our Expedition.
So I took a screenshot, aged it with the filters, added stickers and a frame.
Created with Gimp, Incollage and Photo Studio.
Jeb and Valerian
Edited with Incollage, Photostudio and the Imagechef AI.
It's so amazing to me how the AI pics the colors and turns a simple screenshot into something so stunning.

I used several, some were better than others. Most of them weren't detailed enough, which is tricky because actual Blender tutorials are overwhelming!

@EnkiSchmidt I hope you get your computer fixed soon. I'll check on the icons, thank you!
A surprisingly good edit only with the pre installed photo app on my fire tablet from Jeb and Saiwa's second date
A possible ad for 'Harris Motors' when Jeb and Jack maybe open a garage together ^^'
Edit with Incollage and Imagechef
Banner for 'The Stables'

New profiles and banner (banner is in my signature)
6 scenery screenshots for the backgrounds under the spoiler.
Background for werewolf Jack is Lake Lunvik/Moonwood Mill under the full moon.
For Ji Ho Henford-on-Bagley because he was the happiest there on their weekend trip.
For Jeb the portal to the Magical Realm in Glimmerbrook because he's a witch.
For Vlad Wakabe River/Mount Komorebi, where he watched Ji Ho swim (he is the raven on the pagoda, because he was dead then).
For Saiwa a screenshot from Sixam where he found Tyalindo.
For Kiyoshi I took an image of the Temple at Mount Komorebi where he serves.
The scenery screenshots are edited by my beloved Imagechef AI and the profiles with Incollage and Photo Studio.
And for my next profile pics I'm going to create a template so their heads are the same size, oh my π©βπ§

The Incollage app offers awesome glitch filters.
I used them to edit these screenshots
Before:
After. I cut the screen out in gimp, added a layer and put the monitor screen on the lower layer.
You can even move the sliders to move the distortion, I love this app.
