Like @Simmingal said, I really hope those items in pieces can be constructed. They are right that we'll all be pretty mad if we got the heart bed only as a broken down decoration. The description makes it sound like that's the case. It also sounds like there might be more favorites in the pack that aren't shown here, since they said favorites and not favorite. Maybe I'm being too hopeful, but I'm really hoping this is like a great throwback to Sims 1&2.

I really hope that those two boxes on the floor contain old vinyl LPs and not books. Otherwise I will be crying.

Edit: the blog confirms vinyl records :D<3
Now let's hope that this item has some value so that I can create a second hand record shop.

Is that a new computer on the desk in the picture for the basement kit?

Also, a greenhouse kit while gardening is still broken?

Nope it's not it's clearly just a lame decorative clutter nonsense we need new gameplay not these decor objects that will not help with the actual game.

Lucky for me, I'm totally into lame decorative nonsense... it's probably half my mod folder. It makes my sims' houses feel like homes.

That's just merciless teasing for all the people that have been asking for it to return.

Understandable. I have two versions of it in CC, so it's not a top priority for me personally. It would be a nice to see an "official" version come to the game for those who can't or prefer not to use CC.

I so hope that the T.V is playable & that the Heartshape Bed is buildable? :/
As for the Greenhouse Kit, the builder in me is so geeking out. :p

Not a huge kit person and not really a builder (I mean I got that free one because why not) but I do tend to build greenhouses a lot, so depending on what all is included in the greenhouse one I may be tempted.

Hi @TartosanVigneron and welcome to the forum :) I think the computer is the Milton word processor you get as a reward in the writer career.

I'm happy for people who wanted run-down BB items but didn't want to buy Werewolves.

I don't think I'll be getting either kit though. I'm happy with the run-down stuff in Werewolves and I have plenty of gardening things already in existing packs.

Unless, that is, one of the kits includes gameplay that I'm interested in, that is not bugged....

Does this mean the only reliable way to garden in TS4 now is indoors, and outside plants will keep reverting everyday because they don't know how to fix it ?

    I'm gonna assume yes.

Um, indoor plants also revert ...

The garden plants have never been fixed even when they are sheltered. However, there's a cheat code in the game to bring back the plants to bloom.

But... we can already make greenhouses? And we already have a ton of plant clutter? What is this nonsense?

    Greenhouse Haven Kit
    • Yes! A proper greenhouse set. This will be perfect for my current reno of Magnolia Blossom Park. I'm turning that building on the back of the lot into a community greenhouse that mimics the shell in San Sequoia (Gilbert Gardens?)
    Basement Treasure Kit
    • I wonder if Dr Gluon will be excited about this one. He's been asking for more trashy beat up items. I'm going to have a lot of fun updating some of the low rent apartments, fixer uppers, starters, and haunted lots with these objects. I don't have high hopes we're getting a functional heart bed :( At least not in this kit.

    a bit of a rant:
If we are ever going to get a Heart-shaped bed then I would expect it to be just like the previous versions. That's the whole point of the bed after all. Vibrates, higher change of pregnancy, boost to energy and even fun.

Both of these kits are build/buy. It would require a game play kit if they gave us a proper heart bed. :/

It’s just a kit, so a few extra items to add details if you want them.

The themes are fine I guess, nothing I would consider groundbreaking though. I feel like I've had my fill of grungy and worn items after Eco Lifestyle and the Werewolves pack. I also think they missed out on a opportunity to give us glass walls with the greenhouse kit. I make greenhouses pretty often in my game, and it would be nice to be able to create structures completely out of glass.

    • > Option to purchase separate worlds or a world pack.

    Basement Treasures ???

Interesting because the french title is "Trésors du grenier" (Attic Treasures).

French houses don't have a basement but the apartments often have a cellar.
