I think after recent packs adding more and more romance prompts there should be a review of what happens when two teens are in a romance and one of them ages up. This is my experience.
My teen sim lives alone. Meets another teen. She asks my sim to be best friends, prom and romance. They go on dates and kiss and mess around as prompted by the whims. The game prompts my sim to let the other sim move in. She joins the household and starts with 0 days played as a teen while he is near the end.
They live together, they share the bed, they mess around. For all intents and purposes they are a couple just like the YAs. The game encourages that with the prompts to be girlfriend and move in.
He ages up. They lose the romantic options and must get a new bed. They get the super sibling sentiment which is a long standing bug if two teens in the same house age up. They get the ‘family kiss’ and all the parenthood sibling interactions. I know it’s a bug but it’s going to be more prominent now teens are asking each other to move in.
I know it’s a touchy subject and I understood losing the romantic conversations and the mess around options. But the teen romance experience right now is really disjointed when it pressures them into getting closer then just ends automatically and turns them into brother and sister.
