Which $20 pack should I get next?

I've been wanting to buy a new pack but can't decide between Werewolves or Realm of Magic... I've already got Vampires so I think Werewolves would make for a more story-driven game (and apparently Greg is like the best NPC in the Sims 4 universe) but Realm of Magic also has a mod that allows you to become a fairy, with sparkly wings and all.... I've asked everyone I know, and it was still torn between Werewolves and Realm of Magic.... Please help... Like, I really like the paranormal ones so this is the toughest decision I've ever had to make...

The world that comes in RoM (Glimmerbrook) is ugly to me. I avoid it at all costs. So I would recommend Werewolves.

its so hard for me too because like, i was really excited for sims 3: supernatural, which had all the occults in one big pack instead of in separate ones... i really do like werewolves... ive been wanting to see if greg is like the best npc... but then i want to be able to make a fairy... which, i mean, i guess i can get rom next time i have the money for it

Werewolves. I just think it's a more fleshed out pack. I like the decor theme and the world more as well.
And this is coming from someone who generally has a bias for witches (in all previous iterations).

If you wait a few more weeks, they will probably be on sale for 25% off again. They usually run the sales every month or so.

I like both, and play both often, and both are mostly bug-free, but there's a lot more content in Werewolves. Enjoy!!

(and apparently Greg is like the best NPC in the Sims 4 universe)

While he’s a special NPC like Agnes Crumplebottom and Kyle and a bit ‘iconic’, would also note that L Faba and Morgyn from Realm of Magic are fan favorites and often in the screenshot threads. People love to make them over. Third sage is a bit plain by comparison but these two shine and really stand out.

Personally for premades/world/CAS and build buy I ever so slightly prefer realm of magic but only because it’s more my theme. But I haven’t played the gameplay of either enough to make a choice. Either way they are both strong with NPC’s.

Werewolves goes very well with Vampires. ;)

Definitely werewolves as there is some rivalry between the two. The magicians are interesting as background decor but quite inconspicuous. A werewolf on the other hand scared all my sims away from a restaurant and even gave me a fright a couple of times while running past my sims on all fours during dark rainy nights.

I think most certainly Werewolves over RoM yes RoM has some things I use all the time but its really not as immersive to me because of the missing witching stuff and I am still salty

then again i guess if you do play with mods (which I don't) you could add the witching thingies to it and make it better

hmm yeah idk as vanilla player I'll still say werewolves they just feel more of a complete occult to me the way they are

Werewolves is quite likely my favourite GP, so I give my recommendations to it :)

i went with werewolves this round... im trying to get used to it... made a vampire and werewolf couple, and my vampire died almost immediately because of exposure to the sun, leaving her to raise their twins (a boy werewolf, and a girl vampire) alone... havent had greg raging into my kitchen yet, looking for a fight... but heres to hoping...

although, her raging for no apparent reason is going to take some getting used to

I had a family living right next door to Greg's place for some time and he never came on their property. He is a loner after all. So far, both of my sims who've had interactions with Greg did so because they sought it out. I had one sim who saw him storming by and tried to strike up a friendly conversation (bad idea) and I had another who actually went to his house looking for a fight (Lone Wolf Aspiration). I think a huge part of Greg's appeal is the massive volume of lore associated with him. This is primarily through his diary, which you can find in various places.
-No, my almost-elderly mother, I don't think it's a good time for you to try for a baby.
-Yes, person I barely know, you have my blessing to hang out with Johnny Zest.
-No person with the mean, hot-headed and self-absorbed traits, I don't think you should get married.

    - Vampires don't like the sun. They have a point system. Eventually you can put points into sunlight immunity.

    - Werewolves have a fury bar and will go on a rampage once that bar is filled. They will have temperaments that impact this along with a full moon. Same point system for werewolves that can help have more control over fury.

    - Like Eleri mentioned, you have to seek Greg out. Start from the small starter home lot in Moonwood Mill. Nearby should be a shell of a trailer with signs out front. Interact with the signs to provoke him. He's not going to show up in your kitchen but he might be lurking nearby during a full moon
