Attic building when?

Seriously, the game needs more tools to build rooms inside roofs.

Attics should be a tool similar to basements, to have a special above ground floor with some restrictions but functional.

That could requires new connections and compatibility with stairs tools and minimal heigh for those.

What do you think?

yeah we desperately need

under roof / ceiling textures/paint
viewing mode that allows to have roofs up

also unrelated but why on earth do columns hide when you scroll close
i hate that what is the point of disappearing column okay back on subject

possibility to look inside house while the roof is up in live mode

we can somewhat do attics if you have mansard roof but other roofshapes are a pain
and even so the white ceiling kills the vibe

The only issue with attics I see is that they are dependent oh height of roof. In real life people would hunch over or crawl on their knees to reach lower spaces, but I don't really see the sims doing this. I've created livable attic spaces with the mansard type roofs before and they work fine because they are basically rooms, but with the regular roofs there's usually not enough space to create an attic and if you want more attic space you need to create a massive roof and house.

We need a tool like basement without any cheat, trick or anything related.
