Can the science baby option give twins or triplets?

Definitely. My first attempt at babies since the new pack I went for a science baby and ended up with twins! With the changes to everything, twins wasn't what I wanted. So no idea how infants with go 🤣

I wonder if multiples are more likely with science babies, as a reference to IVF?

Multiples was definitely NOT what I was going for when playing infants for the first time. I had a single sim and she wanted two kids (two single science babies) not four (a single and a set of triplets). My poor sim got no time to herself until they were potty trained toddlers and could look after themselves to an extent.

In my experience, yes. Quite a bit more common, too. I've already had four sets of twins! (I've made a chart of my Sims and their offspring so far if anyone wants to see it, though not all of them were science babies)

Only one even involved the fertile trait or on ley line.
