Can't Use Walking Paths

My sim can't use either of the walking paths at the arboretum or at the bridge. Every time I click on one of the interactions, they just stand there. When I click on jog, they change into their fitness attire but still stood there after. On the bridge, there was also a townie sim spinning in a circle. It was rather strange, lol. Is this happening to anyone else? Is there anything I can do?
