In term of points, traits with 6 positive points and no negative point :
Hot-headed
Bookworm
Mean (It doesn't bother Optimistic Sims and Spirited Sims)
That means a sim with these traits could get up to 18 points.
Have your sim dislike those and it will become -18 points.
In addition, Proper (-2 total) and Unflirty (-1) always give negative points (or positive if the Characteristics is disliked). If every Characteristic is liked or disliked, then Good is the only affected trait that ends up giving 0 points.
@EgonVM this is wonderful information. Thanks for providing it. I'm curious how simmers are using it. So far I'm just using it for reference but that could change in the future. I'm wondering how simmers are actively manipulating characteristics and likes/dislikes to modify relationships.
I just created a new sim as the significant other for one of my sims and simply gave him traits, likes and dislikes that I thought suited his personality with no thought to the couple's future compatibility.
In my game I mostly give them likes and dislikes that fit with their personality. So an ambitious sim might like hard working sim, a lazy sim ambitionless sims etc.

I find it kinda funny that the most likable people in sims world are angry, mean, bookworms 💀💀
