Growing Together made ‘guest rooms’ great again!

And I’m very happy about it!

My Sim got a phone call from her elderly mother saying “WE are coming over to help with the new infant”. I clicked ok and both her mother and father showed up with suitcases and stayed for 5 days. They’d leave to go to their respective jobs then come back here and help out around the house and with the infant. The infant got a moodlet that said he was happy his grandparents were staying over.

I actually fixed up a guest room for them. I put a double bed in the room and could assign them to the bed. They’d use it. There was also a desk in the room and my Sim’s mother whipped out a laptop to use on it. Her dad woke up in the middle of the night to use the toilet then got right back in bed. And when the stay over ended, they were no longer assigned to the bed so it worked out perfectly.

Anyway, I’m very pleased with the stay over feature and the fact that they will use the guest beds you set up for them.

Glad that worked out so well for you. I did discover that you have to be careful just who you invite over, especially a whole family of 4 who had no jobs, ate all your food, didn't help, and had fights.

Lol I didn’t know you could have Sims from different households stay over at the same time. I just discovered that in the game. That’s pretty cool. But yea could be chaotic depending on their traits and relationships!
